At the start of the year I had this as an automatic loss. Last week I thought there was a chance but there was too much to overcome. Tonight Notre Dame is 8-0 after rolling the Sooners 30-13.

Everett Golson: 13 of 25 for 177 yds, 64 rush 1 TD

Manti Te'o: 11 tkls, 1 sack, 1 int

Zack Martin/Chris Watt/Braxton Cave/Mike Golic/Christian Lombard: 213 rushing yards

Kapron Lewis-Moore/Louis Nix/Stephan Tuitt: held Oklahoma to 15 yards rushing and a whopping 0.6 YPC

Games are won in the trenches.

Easy choice is Manti, however watching EG and how he matured including coming back in the game after a devastating hit, ill give it to him.

This game just shows you that their is no I in team. This was a collective victory, everyone stepped up.

Sure Te'o and Golson both might've played the game of their careers (and for Te'o that is saying a lot ). And without them this game is a loss.

But you have to look at everyone. Reese coming in for one play and throwing a strike to Eifert. Brindza staying calm and coming on to hit 2 deep feild goals after pulling an easy one. The line played their best balance pass/run blocking game by far. Nix jumping the snap every play and being a disruptive force. And the Defensive backfield bend but don't break!
