Hoping to fill my moose tag in a couple weeks. Its me and 3 buddies that all got tags in the same zone so it will be a lot of meat if we can all get one!

3 Moose would kill me...I wobble like a weeble with an Elk front and straps in my frame pack...I can't imagine a Moose quarter and straps. And 3 of them...Thats alot of field work...

Something I'll share from my recent escapade...just did one of those "bunch of guys drew out" hunts...was helping 5 guys hunting limited entry elk...they ALL dropped one over three days...I went to carrying a battery op sawzall in my frame pack this year...its 40 bucks (harbor freight) and 5 lbs...I just stopped being enamored with the idea of taking one of those big animals into quarters and a head/cape with just a knife. Multiply that grief times 5 (3 in your case) and suddenly it really makes sense. Some strategic knife cuts and buzzzzzzzz....bam 4 pieces and a cape walking out in about half the time, and no one gets hurt twisting and yanking on stuff. So if you are in terrain where you know you are breaking them down to quarters...man I'd get one.
