I mean besides the nice catch last week Pauling has been playing better than him anyways, maybe get Burress some burn this Saturday as well.

Greathouse and Burress have zero impact on each other. The next in line is Saldate

Are we not doing a prediction vote thread for this game? Or did I just overlook it?

to be fair Jaden Mickey did it and were playing him this weekend so it’s top of mind already
It's fair to wonder, given his lack of targets 4 games in. Wr's are notorious for it and many forecasted JG as our Wr1, with clear nfl aspirations after his two game performance in the semi/natty last season.

It's a long season and there are several factors, but I'm sure this season hasn't started like he envisioned. Hope he comes back with a vengeance.

Mickey got jumped by Leonard Moore and was probably going to get jumped by the freshmen that came in this spring as well.

Greathouse is the incumbent "guy" in the WR room, and despite the slow production start is nowhere remotely close to losing his role as a starter. Completely different situations, imo

Never said they were the same. It’s just not a ridiculous jump for people to wonder if “player who got drastic cut in snaps and targets” may want to transfer

Also Mickey did not get jumped by Moore prior to his transfer. He was playing plenty. More than Moore. Basically different positions. Would have played throughout the season.

A hamstring injury could also explain his lack of targets. If it's been nagging, could impact how open he gets on downfield routes.

Greathouse made some nice plays last week. I'm sure he'll be fine. He's one of the four top WRs but not notably better than the other three. But also if Faison or Pauling were to go down...

That said - and not to jinx anything but - I'm a little (pleasantly) surprised that no one seems to be pulling the four-game ripcord. Speaks to the culture of the program, and the value of the degree.

I think this is going to come down to ND's passing game against Boise State's pass defense, and I love ND in that matchup. The OL should be able to contain BSU's Edge Virgin-Morgan and Carr should be able to do to this secondary was USF did.

Feeling a lot better about this one on the Friday before.

They give up a lot of big plays I'm guessing we see Carr throw a 60 yard bomb to start the game off to Faison or Fields

Grim thought after the Sugar Bowl experience, but I'm glad they've got the yellow barriers set up.
It’s for the outdoor ND basketball event happening on Eddy Street. They’re shutting down the road for the event.

I need to go back and watch but I wonder if he tweaked it coming down w/ that nice pass catch near the sideline. Didn’t he have to strain to get one foot down?

To sure if Mickey is any better than Hobbs. Looking back at film he was often taken advantage of.

I am hoping Gilbert gets in more. He has looked good the few times we have seen him.

Great weather for South Bend in October. Excited for the first game I’m going to on campus this year. I’m thinking ND 52-21
