What is Notre Dame's record at home since we started piping the music into the stadium last year? I can't remember which game it started.

Technically started for USC, but it was very amateur... nothing but crazy train and on every 3rd down. Since they've gotten organized I think we're 6-0.

And they punted from the 40, thanks for proving my point... I know Tommy punted last year, which is why I brought that up.

LOS was the 32 according to the official stats.

Seeing as Kelly has had Turk pooch kick often over the past 3years and he also had Rees do it 3 times, once with a very poor effort I suspect Kelly was more comfortable with Turk. I would be.

I assumed Kelly wanted the kick in the corner rolling O.B. to put them in a deep hole. Old Man Mike noted more likely Kelly wanted the ball downed inside the 10 with the clock running burning off most of the 29 seconds between the punt execution and the fair catch/downing process.

Enjoyed the game....the weather was fantastic and 100x better than last week. Brought the wife for the first and she enjoyed herself and got some clothes at the bookstore which brought a tear to my eye.

I'll take a win every week but this win was ugly watching. BYU had a great opportunity to beat ND yesterday. If it was last year they pry would have one but man this team stuck in there and players especially Theo that stepped up and got the team back in it and didn't give up.

Watching the replay now (had a wedding yesterday), and I will say this: BYU has a very good defense, and they definitely came to play. It's such an accomplishment in itself to see our team on the winning end of close games for a change. These guys have that edge now where they don't get rattled, and plug away until the game is over. Gotta love it.....
