announced crowd 37,391. I guess a few people bought tickets and decided to stay warm and dry.

Defense reminded me of last year's USC game. Stay in the base early because they aren't good enough to go up and down the field on you, then discover that they are.

Something Lea needs to rid himself of. Even the 4-8 versions of teams like Stanford are way better than the New Mexicos or the world. Be aggressive. Worst thing that can happen is they score quickly, which is better than if they score slowly.

Totally reminded me of USC last year where Daniels was just carving. Then the adjustments took effect and they clamped down hard. Hated to see Mills make a Heisman run in the first quarter, but thankfully the tide turned after the blocked punt.

I had zero concern. Just a slight chuckle at the stupid start of the game. Complete replica of the USC game. We're a better team, and others like to forget we're just as decimated by injuries.

BK has us in a good place.

4 more false start penalties on the Oline. That’s getting really old. Along with poor tackling to start the game are my primary two negative takeaways. Jones at tailback and the obvious sloppy field conditions too.

The punt block/Tremble TD were huge. Completely different Irish team after that play. Congrats Foskey...looking forward to seeing more next year!!

Brando had my GF laughing (not in a good way). He said Claypool was in the witness protection program like 10 times...mix it up a bit please. “Giving him the lumber” and “laying the wood” were a couple others he made that had her chuckling. She asked me if I thought he was drunk

Bauer tippy toed on the punt block because I thought he had a roughing the kicker before. He is an animal out there on special teams at laying the wood. Ore C’Bo and we had a Jafar siughting finally. Jones running outside in painful to watch. Finke seemed non existent. No McKinnley or Jayson Adimola? Great wingspan by Foskey but seems invisible on D most of the game. Hope he puts 15 quality pounds on. Book played pretty good bit could have made a few more plays imo.

We should jump Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin after they get drubbed again, Oregon if they lose to Utah and Baylor if they lose to Ok but note sure where to
go after that. That gets us to 11 I think. If UGA beats LSU maybe we jump someone else. Forgetting about Bowling Green and New Mexico and the exception of Louisville last week our opponents did very well. USC finished strong, BC going bowling, UVA, VT, Navy and even Duke looking good to finish up. The UM game was an abomination and would like a rematch on neutral field. We are better than Penn State too. Want to play against a team we aren’t favored to win as we need something better than another expected win.

The beginning of this game was awful and the Stanford fans don’t deserve the team they have been provided the last 15 years. Embarrassed for them. Not good for the ND brand to have such a piss poor crowd.

Brando and his “Just for men”hair coloring that he borrowed from Flutie was a washed up PAC 12 homer. It is the PAC12 network I guess. Comparing Tony Jones to one of our best ever (Tony Brooks) was insulting to Brooks imo. Jones has been a nice guy to have around but he/we need a true number one RB and it I still not Jafar. At his the replay of ND usc at the colliseum where Reggie runs wild for 250 plus.

Would have loved Turico and even a Flutie Flake over those knuckleheads.

Finke had an undisclosed hamstring injury; only used on punt returns. To fair catch, I presume.

Somewhat comical in retrospect Stanford kicked away from him.

Just read an article that said ND fans stormed the field after the game. Shaw responded by saying that they’ll be celebrating on other fields next year. First of all, they(Stanford Stadium staff), like, uh, told us to go down there. They were like, “Hey, you guys can go on the field after the game?.” And we were, “That’d be cool. I’ll do it.Thanks, man.” We then entered the field in a lawful and organized manner. If that was “storming” then storming is way more orderly than I assumed. Secondly, Stanford doesn’t have fans (even at a home game) to storm a field. I don’t think they’ll be overwhelming ND security to storm the field next year, David.

Yes he did. We got to run up the score without negative backlash. That’s how a beautiful universe works, lol.

What was even more beautiful was the fat "fullback" getting garbage time to Mills' right.

Yet another example why David Shaw is the absolute worst. Such a phony on every level.

No doubt.
My reference to Dumb and Dumber was the "staff and Shaw's obvious effort" at trolling the situation. He either knew ahead of time and ok'd it... Or he told those in the know to do it in order to cause a weird outcome...
Either way, fans are going to want to go on a field. I would If I was told I could.

These are facts...everyone was beyond calm going onto the field and the most hyped were the kids. Shaw is a b*tch!
