Top 8 but after seeing other teams do work lately, just not ND's time. A little more roster adjusting.

Just hope we still get a New Year Bowl.

Big picture...I agree. When Malik went down I was thinking 6-6 at best. It's still disappointing, but could've been much worse. The D is just painful to watch at times.

No problem. Don't read what I write. There are those on here that rub me the wrong way and I usually skip over them. I didn't say I wouldn't take it. I am just disappointed because it could have been so much more. I was trying to say before the year I would have been happy now I am not. Doesn't mean I don't consider all the injuries.

Lost by a combined 4 points to two top 10 teams, one of the the#1 team, I'll take it. Time to hire a new DC, talk to the injury fairy and convince it that we are good for the next decade, and get acquainted with the red zone.

Now that I've calmed down I can appreciate what this team has done with the ridiculous amount of injuries they've sustained. A couple of missed two point conversions kept this team from being 12-0. That's amazeballs.

Post on point except for one thing: even if we converted those 2-pt attempts, the games would only have gone to OT and we don't know what would have happened then.

Ineffectiveness in the RZ is the reason we are not #1 and unbeaten, injuries or not. Great season, but disappointing because this literally was probably the best team we have have since 93, although I think that team would destroy this team.

Then again, I am kinda glad it ended this year, so we can focus on something other than the playoffs, which we were not getting into unless we were unbeaten, anyway.

Defense was a letdown. Oh well, we were very close to be the #1 ranked team in the country...4 points away to be exact. We'll get a nice bowl game and hopefully get to 11 wins. All in all not a bad year considering the injuries.

Also, F**K Shaw, that is one smugass prick. Also you know your program is a joke when beating a 1 loss team ranked outside the top 5 is "rush the field" worthy. I never have, and will continue not to, respect Stanford as a program. They are a good team but a horrible program.

Were you there?? Did you like how they stopped playing the National Anthem? A bunch of us had to start singing it

Kelly's picked up Florida St, Clemson, and Stanford in the past 16 months.

would you count usc in 2009 too and navy in 07 and 09 and pitt in 2008 2009 plus uconn and syracuse senior day losses for weis?
