Wake is Pitt with a slightly better coach and QB. This game should not be an issue even if we play bad.

Their starter didn't play against Pitt and they won. He's played in 8 of 9 games.

Griffis (starter) got hurt in the first half of the Va Tech game. Back up (Kern) stunk it up pretty bad. He also got hurt and 3rd stringer (Martucci) played the entire Pitt game. Martuuci was awful most of the Pitt game but he did get hot late and they had a couple of drives for TD's.
None of these guys are any good. We'll see a heavy dose of zone read. We should concentrate on stopping the run as their RBs are pretty good and the QBs aren't. Very much a short passing game. Griffs stats are padded by the first three games vs Elon, Vandy and Old Dominion.

Their defense is good. Fast and feisty. Similar to Duke.

Under the present coaching staff, every game scares me, including this one.
