I'd imagine it is region specific since it is a College Preview, but I am not sure if SI does that or not.

I understand the three captians thing but you having a second string player on the cover and two stars like the Shark and D-Walker not there makes it seem like they jumped on the wagon (from the outside looking in). Most people are going to have to open it up to find out who #26 is.

its not jumping on the wagon...look at the other teams covers, it's all uniform, the captains are on all of them. To go with Shark and Darius would have disrupted the element they were wanting

One of my favorite quotes when Marvin Lewis took over the Bengals when asked about coming to such as snake bit program was "Places don't lose. People lose." I feel the same way about jinxes. That kind of stuff only happens if you let it.
