I gave up and will be watching the game at my local Buffalo Wild Wings at Waterford Lakes in Orlando.....I'm going to hate to see my tab at the end of the night!

again if you have an xbox360 you can watch it on your tv through espn3.com, i just checked and it worked for me on my tv and on my laptop.

I live just outside of Philly and I checked my local listings and I am getting the Notre Dame game on Abc so maybe they changed the coverage area or its just wrong.

after NOT accepting their initial "automated response" and resending a complaint, this was their answer:

lol the funniest thing are the 5 Sooner fans in California bitching up a storm on their message board. Really, it's ABC's fault for not mirroring the games on ESPN. Can't understand that at all.

I got in contact with the Jacksonville Station (accidentally) which is not mine I'm in Orlando and here is the email I got back.
Mr. Murphy.....

We discussed this quite a bit at the station, knowing that our viewers take their teams very seriously, and also knowing that Jacksonville has grown to the point that many of our residents have strong ties around the country.
It was not a decision we took lightly, but at the end of the day, we had to make what we believed to be the best decision for the majority of our 1 million plus viewing market.

Oklahoma (9-2) and Oklahoma State (10-1) are playing for a spot in the Big-12 Championship. As you probably know.....Oklahoma State is ranked 9th in the BCS, Oklahoma is 13. Neither Notre Dame or USC are ranked in the top 25,
and USC is on probation. Both games are big rivalry games.... and along with our loyal Notre Dame fans....we also have viewers who feel strongly about Oklahoma teams -- some because of the Bob Stoops UF connection.

The ABC network scheduled our market for the Oklahoma v Oklahoma State game.... it was unlikely that we would have been able to change even if we had asked. We have to give the network a compelling
reason to change games, and unfortunately Notre Dame ratings have been very low in our market this season.

All that said.... we know that when 'your' team is playing, that's the team that you want to see, and while we try hard to satisfy all of our viewers with all of our programming decisions, we know it's just not possible.
We do want you to know that we didn't take this lightly.

I checked on the ESPN3.com on xbox live today, gold membership which is needed to watch the game is free starting today for a week so you are in luck if you don't have live gold. Worked great today, I'm sure it will be the same on Sat.

FYI to all, (and maybe I shouldn't say this for fear of jinxing myself as I haven;t been able to speak directly to the WVNY station programming exec), but my DVR programming guide which used to OU-OSU now shows ND-USC ! Their web site still shows OU-SU though

So all the pressure might be working !! all those in Quebec Vermont and Upstate New York don't give up !!! keep calling !!

don;t take no for an answer!! Pretend you're talking to Peggy at USA Prime Credit !!!

might as well complain to Southwest airlines as well, hey are the major sponsor, I just sent them an email !!
