Is the 4 nations a replacement for the all star game? Or did they just want an in season tournament like the NBA?

Pretty sad for Canadian hockey when Jordan Binnington is your best option in goal. Dude played lights out the year he was called up and the blues won the cup...but has been Charmin soft ever since

More sports should copy the NTDP. Maybe it doesn't really work for individual sports, but I think it could really help with soccer, basketball, and baseball. I have read so many people saying how the development program works better than the major junior leagues for those ages, and I can't help but see the similarities between downsides of major juniors and things like club soccer, AAU basketball, and travel baseball.

Great game last night, big win for USA hockey. Very impressive defensive performance.

The NHL is by far the worst run professional sports league. They robbed us and the player of best vs best for too long.

Still in awe of how awesome that game was last night. I give 0 shits about politics, but the only way this series could be better is if Russia was involved. I fell in love with hockey at an early age and played juniors until I tore my ankle up in football junior year. So nice to see the development of team USA in the younger ranks.

I love baseball and hockey and get the anger over both but nothing feels like it’s trying to destroy itself like baseball

I will say I’ve loved watching the Sens this season and love the tkachuk family,… I watched the game that Brady’s face got mangled and I can tell you watching that life I couldn’t believe he came back and scored the game winner, the first few shots looked like his face needed surgery asap. Seeing him and Matt do so well is awesome. A playoff meeeing would be the best possible outcome for me this season since my Pens almost certainly are missing it for the third straight year

Is it Thursday yet? One can only hope that the rematch is half as good as Saturday night.

Heard the same. Hopefully both the Tkachuk boys are able to go. Not necessarily fans of theirs, but game they can get under people's skin. Sucks that Canada got Cole Makar back from illness.
