Lol Chiefs get screwed on their home field. 5 terrible calls or no calls that helped the Pats in that 4th quarter.

It's no longer football. It's entertainment.

It's actually always been entertainment. The judicial system has even ruled as such. But the Chiefs could/should have won this game if Dee Ford could have just turned his head to see he was offsides. Or maybe get one damn sack.

Or maybe not let Brady get a phantom roughing the passer to keep the drive alive. Or maybe not let two clear non catches stand for the Pats, or not allow Gronk to blatantly shove a defender away by his facemask on a td or not allow a fumble recovery get overturned that had no business getting overturned......it's just sickening and you can only overcome so much.

NFL got what they want. Old vs young in the Superbowl.

I wasn’t watching the game close during the punt muff review. Watching the replays (with no sound) it seemed to me it was clear he didn’t touch the ball. What was the call on the field? I may have missed something.

The call was he touched it. He probably didn't but it wasn't conclusive. And the roughing the passer was just insane. Im sorry but ALL of those calls in one quarter to help one team is just.......wwe level. It's fucking sickening and I feel bad for the chiefs.

Ball hit Edelman’s left thumb right as it bounced off the ground. I don’t k ow why ppl aren’t seeing it. But the worst calls were the Hogan “catch” and the Brady roughing the passer. The offside they never really showed on tv, they showed a bad angle which showed the players arm going through his teammates shoulder pad. Regardless, another year, another playoff game the Pats are gifted a win. I will not be watching the super bowl. #boycottsuperbowl t shirts will be made.

I thought from the one angle it looks like it hits his thumb but when they showed the other angle (from the side), it clearly did not. What was the announcers take?

Brady converts three times (3rd and 9, 3rd and 10, 3rd and 10) on that final drive...insane.

That's was more piss poor defense than Brady IMO. How do you let those guys get so open?

Tony Romo called every single one, too.

Not just those, but pretty much every play. How does KC not see the same thing and not be ready?

Reid should catch some heat for this game. He made several mistakes. When KC had the ball with a little over 2:00 minutes left, they didn't run the clock down before punching it in. If they do, there's a great chance NE doesn't have enough time to score.

The D coordinator should be canned. During the entire game, Brady had enough time to drop back, have a slice of pizza and an IPA before finding the open receiver. Okay, I exaggerate, but he definitely had enough time for the pizza.

The Chiefs benefitted from SIX bullshit pass interference calls.

1. Kelce in the endzone
2. J.C. Jackson on the sideline
3. Kelce OPI not called
4. Final drive, Gronk mauled
5. Final drive, Cordarrelle Patterson mauled
6. OPI on Pats pick play that Chiefs were guilty of all game

Yes, the roughing the passer was a joke. The other reviews were called correctly.

All three announcers agreed he didn't touch it, the only debate was over whether it was conclusive enough to overturn.

Love how everyone sees it differently depending on the team you're rooting for. Pats were picking all game as well. Don't agree on Patterson. Seemed to be a well timed play and wasn't the ball thrown behind him? Gronk was hit, but I wouldn't call it mauling.

All three announcers agreed he didn't touch it, the only debate was over whether it was conclusive enough to overturn.

IMO there wasn't enough proof to overturn it, especially when using a blown up pic that is fuzzy. The same fuzzy pic cost the Irish the ball deep in Clemson territory.

Oh you poor victim. The Pats never get any calls. What a bubble you just live in.

First, what a great game. As a KC and ND fan, it's been a terrific year. Most preseason polls had KC picked to finish second or third in their division. I can't imagine what they will be like with a defense.

From our perspective, I can pick out a few plays, mostly their faults, that resulted in the Patriots win.

1. Dee Ford's lining up offsides negating the interception towards the last minutes of the fourth quarter as the Patriots drove for the go ahead touchdown. That interception seals the game for KC.

2. The ball hitting/missing Edelman's thumb/arm call overturning another touchdown.

3. Mahomes missing a wide open Damien Williams for a walk-in touchdown in the second quarter.

4. Mahomes' inability/failure to throw the ball away and getting sacked taking the Chiefs out of field goal range.

Any one of those calls/plays going KC's way and the Chiefs are heading to the Super Bowl. All of those and it would have been a blowout. The draft for the Chiefs is going to be heavy on defense with all their offensive players back. Brady will be 42 at the start of next season. Will he come back?

Was a great game for a neutral (though I was rooting for KC). Was definitely one of those games that whoever lost, there would be a feeling of missed opportunities. As you pointed out, KC had a bunch of chances, though I guess the punt fumble/no fumble ended up not being a factor with the int and touchdown the next play. Love watching Mahomes, looks like the next great one.

1. That seals the game if he isn't offsides. How in the hell do you do that? you're taught to look down the line for ball placement. It's not like he jumped offsides.

2. This may or may not have resulted in a TD. I don't think he can advance that ball so KC would have had it deep, but we don't know if they would have scored a TD.

3. That was a killer.

4. Mahome is outstanding at improvising and as good as he is, he bails too soon. He needs to learn to step up in the pocket more rather than scrambling and he needs to become more accurate. This will be important going forward now that teams have seen him this year. So many rookie QB's do great their first year and then look pedestrian the following years once teams have adjusted.

You're forgetting the PI of Dorsett in the end zone on the TD he caught. Would have been declined but watch that replay and tell me how no flag came out. He was literally tackled.

The fumble call on Edelman's fielding of the punt was corrected. There is no evidence he touched that ball and stating otherwise is simply wrong. I think Steratore(?) and Romo correctly called each of the plays that were reviewed. Hogan's reception and drop and Edelman's non fumble.

It was ruled a fumble,... nothing could have overturned that for any other team in the league,...

The play calling and their O-line completely blunted KC's ability to get to Brady who is not very mobile. In contrast, NE was able to force hurried throws or drive Mahomes out of the pocket.

Video out now showing Brady getting a laser pointer in the face at multiple points in the game.
