Eli will be the starter all season. New OC, it will come together. The biggest disappointment was not seeing Odell Beckham out there.

I see buffalo winning 10 games this year. Bills and rams are my suprise teams this year....if there is such a thing anymore.

better yet their was just a notre dame football sighting (commercial). about a 20 second piece that i missed approximately 15 seconds of because i jumped up off the couch in excitement and stepped on the remote changing the channel. FAIL!! i guess that's why this is pre-season. got to work out my football watching kinks, its been a long off season.

I've always thought Ely was more lucky than good.

Surprised they kept Coughlin around this year.

Other then the Tyree helmet, he's actually had poor luck then good. Between the dropped passes that turned into INTs, RBs who don't know how to catch a screen pass, Plaxico shooting himself, Barber and Shockey calling him out several times in the beginning of his career and having Gilbride as his OC, he's been fighting an uphill battle. Not to mention being Peyton's brother.

Coughlin pretty much guaranteed his tenure with two Super Bowl wins. He's pretty much there as long as he wants. 11 years with one team is a hell of a run these days. The Giants are one of the few franchises that'll stick with you during the bad seasons.

Yeah I have to say those are some good points about Ely. Given the choice I'd pick a different QB though.

I also agree with what you said about Coughlin, but they (management) basically changed his staff around without his input. That's why I was surprised they kept him. Guess it's actually more surprising he stayed.
