I hope we're not bargain shopping.
Yea I have to agree. I would have thought a more experienced OC was in the cards. I am going to give Freeman his due... but a young guy with the same agent..... not far off from a young guy who was the QB and promoted up by the last coach and urged to be kept by the AD..... hhmmmmm not trying to compare but....Well, man Klein has a thin resume.
So, you're saying you already like him more than Rees? Mission accomplished.Okay, well I watched a few KSU games and enjoyed the offense.
You care enough to post on a message board.Who cares

Finally, if Klein leaves could Avery Johnson follow? As we now know, Johnson once held Notre Dame in high regard but wound up at K-State because of Klein. So, yeah, that would be a real fear.
Yes, just worried about the very thin resume. So, you're saying you already like him more than Rees? Mission accomplished.
Very, Very, Very Thin Resume..... the PDF of which was emailed to Freeman from his Agent.....Yes, just worried about the very thin resume.
Pfft. You know nothing about the guy. Please tell me he is just the QB Coach and not the actual OC.!!
Talent is talent my guy. He already showed he could be better than our previous OC when the starting QB goes down and their offense kept humming. I'd love the hire.Yes, just worried about the very thin resume.
I loved the KSU offense, just some concern at the lack of experience (again).Talent is talent my guy. He already showed he could be better than our previous OC when the starting QB goes down and their offense kept humming. I'd love the hire.
The thing is, who on the list is/was actually a candidate, and not just the result of someone pulling names out of their butt for clicks/listens?Yea I have to agree. So many of those names.... Lewis, Ludwig, Johnson, Yurich seemed great.....
I know enough. He is not an elite OC. ND and Freeman need an Elite OC.Pfft. You know nothing about the guy.
Give me a solid reason on why you aren’t a fan. Just don’t say “he has a thin resume”Please tell me he is just the QB Coach and not the actual OC.!!
High risk/high reward potentially. That may end up defining the Freeman era.I loved the KSU offense, just some concern at the lack of experience (again).
You are telling me he is better than the candidates we have been discussing? GMAFB fan boy.Give me a solid reason on why you aren’t a fan. Just don’t say “he has a thin resume”
Give me something that actually shows me you understand anything about the game of football.
I do expert witness testimony for a living. "You know" is a nervous tick out of a lack of experience and a small amount of anxiety. TFWIW.Just watched a Klein press conference. Kid says “you know” about a million times. Not sure what that says about his intellect but dang that’s one hell of a nervous tick.
Great non-answer.Get some perspective five alarm drunk.
That’s not what I asked. I haven’t dove into him much either. But I asked you to give me a solid football reason on why you have your panties in a bunch on Collin klein. You are telling me he is better than the candidates we have been discussing? GMAFB fan boy.
Watch his pressers. That will drive some concerns. This Notre Dame....we deserve the best. Not just an up and comer. Good fucking luck with this kid being our OC.That’s not what I asked. I haven’t dove into him much either. But I asked you to give me a solid football reason on why you have your panties in a bunch on Collin klein.
Freeman is the risk! Why take a risk at the Coordinator positions?? We need proven winners who have decent experience and world class presence to mitigate Freeman's own youth and inexperience. But I am sure most on this Board with say its a great hire. Not impressed.I mean, for all the handwringing from some on this board about the Kelly years, is this not what you signed up for? You can't hit homers unless you swing for the fences. I'm happy to have a head coach that is willing to take a risk to get us to the next level. And not just settle for "I like this guy cuz he's my buddy."

This hire would certainly smack of a smaller than expected check book for the hire of this position.
So you think this hire is at least as good as Lewis, Ludwig, Johnson or Yurich?? Seriously.....I mean you clearly took that from just the page of posts. You don’t know anything about him in the slightest.
So is he constantly saying 'You know' while trying to call plays in the box or are you saying that he's not experienced enough at fielding questions from the media and should therefore not be considered for the role of Offensive Co-ordinator?I do expert witness testimony for a living. "You know" is a nervous tick out of a lack of experience and a small amount of anxiety. TFWIW.
