At the age of 61, I decided to go back to school. I have to write a paper. I decided to do it on college athletics and whether student athletes should be paid something above the cost of the education and the room & board.
I'll do my google and bing searches, but wanted to know if any of you know of some good books or articles that cite good statistics, like how much monetary wise the industry of college athletics is. How many kids play sports in college, how many graduate, how many drop out, what the average cost of a four year degree is, what a four year degree is worth in earning potential, etc..
I don't need to know if you are for or against paying, but feel free to express if you want to.
Thanks
