Well, I keep hearing that Hawkins wasn't the mastermind behind the Boise State offense, but rather the offensive coordinator was.

I read somewhere recently that people made the same claim about Koetter, when he left for AZ. St., that Hawkins was the man. I don't know for sure if that was true, but I wouldn't be surprised. I just left CU after three years there, and I think Hawkins will be a pretty good coach. Better than Barnett, I think. He also seems like a good guy. So at least he has that going for him.
