That is what I'd like to see... hopefully they don't drag their feet. Surely if they were big on Notre Dame, they'd know their time is running out, 5 star prospect or not.

Will Yeatman will commit to ND, but he's also got a LaCrosse scholarship from ND. That just frees up another schollie. And with early entry, this class will be atleast 28 recuits. Put it in the bank. Weis is no dummy, and will bring in as many recruits as humanly possible. He's striking while the iron is hot.

So take the 7 long shots out and Yeatman out and that leaves 17 of the 25 for 5 spots.

Who besides Aldridge plans on being in South Bend come January? Rumor had it Walls was, but now he's not.

Who will it be?

So 25 offers for 5 spots... Hmm.

No they have a couple of extra spots available - they will take 2-3 more for a total of 27/28 scholarships. Aldridge + other January enrollments will use a "2005 scholarship" where we used only 15.

The guys rumored to be ernolling early are players ND doesn't even have yet. Munir Prince's name was mentioned. If they can get Aldridge, Prince and Walls in early....that would free up some spots. Aaron Brown and Chris Stewart are also interested, but that is mute until they commit.

Iowa Domer, you coached against Yeatman correct? Tell me a little about him, complete te or one dimensional? You said Yeatman is ND bound, how can you be so sure? I presume you spoke with some of his coaches or perhaps you just heard the word on the streets? Any information will be much appreciated. Thanks

He's now listed as an offensive tackle. Anyone else catch this?

Unless they are signed, sealed, delivered and enrolled, we do not have those spots.

If I had my choice between Jackson and Austin, I think that I would want Austin. The scouts seem pretty high on this kid. If we get both, great, but we definitely need some ass kickin' DL's and 2 or 3 highly recruited OL's.

I like that list. With Aldridge coming in early, we should be able to take 26. Either another corner or lineman would be nice.

Jackson fits the new prototype: long, lean, fast. I like having the tall receivers. Austin is LISTED at 6-0 and doesn't yet weigh 170.

170???? That's it?? For the love of God, I was 170 in 7th grade. Austin is lightning quick from what I hear. How do the 40 times compare between Jackson and Austin?

He's NOT EVEN 170.

No big deal, but that's a redshirt if I ever heard of one.

Can I get an opinion who the top 10 guys that would best fit ND

They have half of their top 20 right now. Aldridge, Frazer, Jones, Prince, Ryan, Mullen, Walls, McNeil and Webb were all on the top 20 master list. Kates is in their too.

Young, Carufel, Rose, Jackson and Austin would probably bump some of these guys out of the top ten, but their names are all mentioned as well. McCoy, Toryan Smith and Stewart are also in there.

To this point, they're really ahead of schedule.
