I am not sure what is up with the BCS rankings.. Iowa.. #4? Ranked 8th in both human polls and 1st in the computers.. TCU leap frogs Boise and Cincy drops like a stone... Both after winning in impressive fashion. Oh yeah, USC moves up as well.

I shake my head some days, this is what drives a man to drink.

I'd probably have TCU over Boise at this point but I agree with the Cincy and USC part.

I'm guessing were the only team in the country who has 9 teams rated that high on their schedule

Not mention that UW beat USC, Purdue beat OSU, Mich St. should have beaten Iowa and oh yah, UM beat us.

Sagarin has us at #20 - - - - SOS #17.

We keep winning and we move up - slowly but surely.

Ya I don't think Iowa is that good they just happen to be the best in the BIG10 which this year isn't saying a lot.

Boise State doesn't belong up there regardless of their record. They have one win against a decent team (Oregon). Props for the Tulsa win but its still not enough.

... Both after winning in impressive fashion. ...

Didn't the BCS require the computer gurus to delete MOV from their rankings?

Sagarin has stated that his PREDICTOR model which includes MOV is his most accurate rankng but the BCS used his Elo-Chess System which has no MOV.

So if Notre Dame does get to a BCS Bowl (which hopefully they will) will it be the Sugar Bowl Or Orange Bowl? Or could it be the Rose Bowl? I know its usually Big 10 vs Pac 10 but what are the chances Notre Dame could get there?

They can only get Rose if Iowa or USC/Oregon make it to championship game. I'm thinking Va. Tech or Geo. Tech in Orange.

But the Rose Bowl really likes the Pac-10/Big Ten matchup. so even if USC/ Oregon makes it to the Chamionship game, if both are BCS eligible, they will likely pick the Pac 10 school that is left out

Assuming either FLA or ALA loses to the other in the SEC Championship game, as it stands in the BCS standings right now: FLA/ALA vs TXS. Which means thats the Sugar would pick first since the #1 team is SEC, the Fiesta would pick second since TXS is Big12 Champ. Sugar would probably pick FLA/ALA loser, Fiesta would take ND if available. Then the order of selection falls to Orange, Sugar, Fiesta as per BCS rotation. The Rose would take Iowa vs USC/Oregon. Orange bowl would have GT vs ND if available, possibly PennSt or Cincy. Sugar would take PennSt and Fiesta would have to take TCU.

Thats as things stand right now.
