Notre Dame returns 4/5 lineman, so that unit will definitely improve from a fine season in 2010.
Notre Dame has a very good receiving corp. Michael Floyd is an all-american. Theo Riddick is blazing fast and shifty, a very good slot receiver. Throw in TJ Jones and Tyler Eifert. It's a damn fine corp to work with.
Cierre Wood had flashes of brilliance last season. His YPC was the highest, as a RS-Frosh (I know, I know), since Julius Jones' senior campaign. That says something. Behind an experienced line and what is one of the best TE corps in the country (maybe not blocking, but whatever)...he will have a great 2011.
The only question is, as has been discussed to death, the quarterback. If there is ONE THING Brian Kelly has shown throughout the last decade of coaching, it's that you can count on quarterback development and good play from that position.
As you can tell, I'm very bullish on this offense.
