Achonwa with a great no look pass ... where no one was within 10 feet. Turnover.

This team is better than last year IMO

Yup. It's the general consensus of everyone that has seen them play this year. This is such a well oiled machine. They are getting better and better too.

And they are really young overall. Could be a nice 2-3 year run.

Unfortunately the way things look, ND would face UConn in the Final Four rather than the Championship game. (If both teams make it that far I know, but I am counting my chickens before they hatch)

I really think that would be a blockbuster game IF both teams were undefeated and facing each other in the Championship game.

This TEAM is awesome. Love watching them play

That just means Muffet will have to work to prevent a let down for the NCG.

As of Sagarin's most current Predictor Model, CON is the only one ranked ahead of ND and they would be a 7 point favorite on a neutral court.

The fact that this team is undefeated after playing so many tough conference games on the road in a new conference shows just how special this team is. I think they have a great chance to win it all

The team is a nice blend of veterans and young guns. Notre Dame has signed 3 top5 recruiting class in a row. This includes a really stellar 2014 class. No doubt the program is at a point where it can be top-5 every year.

I've never fully understood seeding, how does that work? I know in the men's tourney usually the top 2 seeds are on opposite sides of the bracket.

Another cool thing is that the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 are being played in South Bend. I may have to check those games out considering ND will likely be there and still playing.

Today's Sagarin update has ND a 5.5 pt underdog to Con on a neutral court.

ND's S.O.S. is now #8.

They annually rotate the regions so you don't have the East playing the West every year or the Midwest playing the East or West or South, etc.. That's why the top two aren't always bracketed so they can meet in the finals.
