Pac-12 title hopes are on the line Saturday when the Stanford hosts No. 9 UCLA in a game that will play a role in both division races. Unfortunately, the Cardinal will likely be without starting kicker Jordan Williamson in the contest.

Big news: Stanford kicker Jordan Williamson is not in uniform for game vs UCLA

— David Lombardi (@DavidMLombardi) October 19, 2013
David Shaw said Wednesday that Williamson, a three-year starter, "tweaked" one of his legs. Stanford does not often delve into specifics regarding injuries, so no details regarding which leg or the extent of the injury were given.

Redshirt freshman Conrad Ukropina is Williamson's listed backup, and he is expected to start if Williamson cannot play. Ukropina's only action this season was an extra-point attempt, which he converted.

Williamson has hit 9 of his 12 field goal attempts this season and 25 of 26 extra points. In 2012, he had game-winning kicks against Oregon in Eugene and UCLA in the Pac-12 title game to send Stanford to the Rose Bowl.

TD Stanford on a ridiculous catch. Thought that was gonna be a pick.

Game over. Crazy how small the margin of error is in football. Hogan throws one into double coverage that should be picked and Whitfield makes one of the greatest catches I've seen. Next drive UCLA has Shaq Evans open for a huge play and Hundley just doesn't quite bit enough air under it and Richards makes a spectacular INT. Now Stanford is up 17-3 and this game is probably over.

Spoke too soon... UCLA not quitting. Just dropped a sure pick 6 though. Wow.

Stanford closes it out. Which is good for us as Stanford is the only big game for us the rest of the season. The only game where we could jump other teams that won. Either way we could probably get a BCS bid (if we go 10-2) though IMO.

Incredibly impressive win by Stanford. Their defense balled out. Their O is still super shaky and conservative and relies on being able to bully the opponent. But despite injuries they really stymied a good UCLA offense and had some really impressive interceptions.

To be fair UCLA had a couple of injuries along the O-Line as well that certainly didn't help. Not sure Hundley trusted his line at points.
