Stanford blocked a punt for a TD. UCLA went three and out in response. End of the 1st with UCLA punting.

Amy feel for the game thus far? UCLA playing well? Stanford sucks? A bit of both or lots of neither? I don't know?

Thanks in advance and no more questions.

Cheers and Go Irish!!

Stanford’s offense was bad, and now they’re on their 3rd string QB. No excuse though for getting smacked around by UCLA.

UCLA has been competitive in most of their games. They’ve got some athletes. Thompson-Robinson looks like a legit dual threat QB.

ND should absolutely destroy Stanford this year.

Stanford sucks....

Yup, but the few reels I watched the Bruins play this year it was like a bunch of monkeys throwing feces at each other hoping something would stick.

Is Soso Jamabo done football now? I thought that kid was going to ball and was so pissed he didn't come to SB... perhaps a blessing in disguise.

Cheers and Go Irish!!

UCLA has gotten better as the season has gone on. Not saying they’re good, but they’ve been improving every week and they’ve got some good athletes on both sides of the ball.

Thanks Brother!! It seems like Stanford is either getting hit with some costly penalties or the Bruin's D is playing well.

Cheers and Go Irish!!

Classic Stanford luck. WR has Adebo best by 2 steps... and the QB underthrows it by 10 yards. Should’ve been a walk in TD to go up 28-10 headed into half.

Did anyone catch that space heater behind UCLA's bench? How do we ever lose to southern Californians?

Too many players on the roster from temperate climates?

Anyhow, Bama seems to do pretty good in-spite of the lack of hard winters.

There's thin blood then there's a space heater when it's 60 degrees. Whole different level of weak constitution. I guess it's no wonder USC stopped coming to South Bend in November.

While the thin-bloods from the West Coast, the Rams, wrapped themselves in scarfs and huddled around portable heaters, the Vikings stood bravely on the sidelines, bare-armed and smiling, breaking icicles off their face masks.

That's from the LA Times. Bud Grant knew how to make weak men suffer.

Hopefully this year is the start of Stanford returning to where they belong in the football hierarchy...at the bottom.

ND has gotten their ass kicked in Palo Alto dating back to 2009 (its been a real drag watching each of those losses at Stanford Stadium). Maybe it was too warm?

Really hoping to make this game. GP thinks I'm ready but waiting for approval from the neurologist. The rest of the Faithful have booked their flights, hotel and tickets. My vision is not great but if I make it, I'll buy you a beer or two. This is the year we turn it around... for a long time!

Cheers and Go Irish!!

I can handle a hundred thousand men in battle, and take the City of the Sun, but am afraid to manage a lot in the swamp of San Francisco.

In 2015, it was pretty damn cold for Palo Alto.

I think it got down into the high 30's, which I know is the tropics for Midwesterners, but for Cali, that's the Antarctic.

If it's any comfort to those worried about the Stanford game this year, I have attended the last 3 matchups in Palo Alto, and am 0-3 when in attendance. I will NOT be attending, as I am deployed. So knowing my luck, they'll win convincingly.

All I'm going to say is that it's very sad we're not going to get to play against West. Because if we did, Stanford would get the Bowling Green treatment.
