Louisville -1.5? Easy money. This will be a bloodbath.

Louisville definitely appears to be the better team this year but Clemson is tough in Death Valley. Last time they lost at home was 2013 to eventual National Champs FSU.

I like Clemson's DC better than Louisville's DC. And at home, I like Clemson.

What's a DC? Us ND fans don't know what a DC is.

But seriously, 2 great head coaches with 2 great offenses and offensive play makers on both teams and 2 great DC's. This is gonna be a good game. Can't even pick a winner but kind of pulling for Louisville for some reason.

Should be a good one for sure. The playoffs are a long way off but this game could have some serious implications for several teams/conferences.

And I like the offensive coaching on the Louisville side much better than the Clemson side. Petrino will have a great game plan ready.

Definitely. And since ND is no longer in the running I'm just pulling for anarchy. All the blue bloods can lose and the little guys like Houston and Louisville can mess up the system and put us closer to an expanded playoff. Sucks that Louisville and Houston have to play each other (even though that will be a great game too) but if Houston can run the table and Louisville wins the ACC with the one loss to Houston that would make things interesting for the committee.

We still have plenty of football left but Louisville looks completely outclassed.

They are. They smacked down an FSU team that seems to be overrated, which I'm shocked by because they have as much talent as any team in the nation.

Clemson is just on another level. Clemson, Bama and OSU are the class of college football.

Not so fast my friend. It's a 4th quarter game now.

Its hard to watch this game and think just last year ND was so close to beating clemson and now Louisville and Clemson would destroy us.

Maybe not a bloodbath like I thought, but Louisville is still the better team. Slow start because it really does seem like Clemson has one of the toughest night game environments in the sport. L'ville struggled early because of that but they'll hold this lead.

How did Lamar Jackson get out of Florida?!

How was he only #248 overall on 247 and #401 overall composite?

This game is bananas!

Why did Dabo go for 2 on that last touchdown? Extra point puts them up four, and they could still kick a field goal to win if Louisville scores a TD. Ideas?

If Notre Dame installed an entry ramp like Clemson's, for the first game we'd get 3 torn ACLs and 6 turned ankles as we took the field.

I always think, 'how do they not have a rash of injuries from that stuff?'

Gotta love how they keep saying it "feels like Notre Dame." Each of the memorable games under BK is an ND loss.

Clemson also fortunate that each of their big (regular season) games the past two years have been at home.

Really really soft play by the WR on the last play of the game there. I don't care if you try and get stuffed but you can't spin out of bounds on 4th down.

Extra point would have put them up 5 so you go for 2 to try and make it a 6 point game.
