And there it is boys and girls, like we didn't know this already.

The national coordinator of NCAA football officials says the decision to uphold the ruling on the field for the last play of the Stanford-Notre Dame game was correct.

Field officials ruled Stanford running back Stepfan Taylor's progress had been stopped before he reached the ball across the goal line for what would have been a potential tying touchdown on fourth-and-goal in overtime.

Replay officials reviewed the play and the call was confirmed, giving Notre Dame a 20-13 win Saturday.

Its kind of like every team we beat, all the sudden becomes "overrated".

Well, to be blunt, haven't they all been overrated? Other than Navy, I don't think any team on the schedule within the first six games was considered anything less than a good team. And other than Michigan it is pretty obvious they are all overrated, to this point. But in reality, the Irish still have played more quality opponents than any other top tier team, easily.

I disagree. The only reason people think the teams we beat are overrated is because WE knocked them out of the polls.... People don't seem to take that into account.

How is this still a topic of conversation? It really wasn't even a close call. Missing Everett step out of bounds before he fumbled was actually debatable (not even, actually, it was straight missed). Just goes to show people will say anything, regardless of the facts.
