Got signed in late last night, ready to advance. Do we have a 12th team in yet? Only saw 11 when I signed in and checked it out.

Also, watch out for that Hokie recruiting class. Got quit a few "gems" in the mix

I would advise against letting the computer recruit for you. They suck at it. And it really doesn't take that much time to recruit; especially since we have a week to do the weeks recruiting.

That's one thing I will struggle with since this is my first online dynasty; if I have free time or an off-day, I can get through almost an entire season in one day with my offline dynasty, but it's going to take alot of patience to wait and advance each Sunday in this format.

Also, has anyone used any of the online tools for an online dynasty? I know it's possible to recruit and even super-sim games from a computer for your online dynasty, but I have no idea where to start in doing something like that. I would very much like to kill an hour every week by doing my recruiting on the computer at work.

I hear ya, but we are talking a 12 game season at one game a week. 3 months for one season, I would think some of the 12 would lose interest. Not saying I am one of them, I'm ready to do this!

arahop and ballahogn showing 0h 0m recruiting time left, but status is not ready. Going to guess roster is not set from red-shirting yet. Also, Alamo is A.W.O.L. as SLU pointed out.

Other than that we're ready to get into Week 1!

Haha I haven't either, especially since I avoid over-signing even in video games (70 player limit sucks, but I still like realism. We don't cut our players for performance at Virginia Tech). It will be tough, but I will make recruiting 14-18 players last for an entire hour. That's how boring working on a college campus is sometimes.

I picked Oklahoma but almost went with Pitt, OSU, and S.C. I'm curious what teams yinz flipped flopped between.

Think of Sundays as a deadline, if everyone is ready by say next thursday I would advance it then not wait till Sunday

I was originally going to take Texas Tech but I realized there was only 1 team in the SEC. So I opted for Florida b/c they are rivals with Georgia and FSU.

Also, ballahogn should have his recruiting board set sometime this evening. I think he just needs to do his scouting. He said he joined IE as well. Don't know his username yet..

I would think that TX would be a pipeline state. To be honest, I was somewhat shocked of the initial prospects that showed interest in OKLA.

Yep, that's why I went with OKLA. I would have took Pitt if someone had WVU and would have took OSU if someone took MICH.

Just by browsing the TX kids in the database, there doesn't seem to be many times where our interests conflict, for every TX kid that has OU on top for a position group there's a TX kid that wants to be a Longhorn over everyone else and vice versa. Aarahop (KSU) on the other hand may a tougher hand dealt to him going up against both of us a bit here and there..

Smart. I had thought of doing that, but since Texas only has Texas as a pipeline, neighboring states made more sense (although it's not a high priority; I'm Mack Browning this ****).
