That injury to Hayward was gruesome! I won't post it. I am sure you can all find it if you want.

Hayward is probably my favorite player. That break made me sick to my stomach. Shitty day in sports.

I was finishing up some work and had the game on in the background when the injury happened. The ankle snapping was so loud that it got my attention and when I looked up Hayward on the ground I assumed either he nailed his back/tailbone on the ground falling or that his head hit the floor because I couldn't imagine what else could have made that noise. A broken bone like that didn't even cross my mind. Nasty/sad injury, but the initial reports are that he was spared ligament damage although I haven't seen anything confirming that. Hard to imagine he plays this year, but I've also seen 6-month recovery listed some places so who knows. I just hope for his sake it's not a career-altering thing. He's been fun to watch going all the way back to his frosh year at Butler and he was finally on a "national stage."
