I can't think of a more difficult matchup than the one Dirk gives you. A 7 footer who shoots the ball better than 95% of the league. Amazing.

Even with the expected FT disparity, Bulls could have easily won last night. Too many TOs and missed shots.

A Ray Allen type shooter is all Chicago needs to compete with Miami in the future IMO.

*I'm happy to see the Bulls relevant again, but you have to worry that many good young teams and players will have their primes ruined by the Heat's "Dream Team" ripping off a run of titles, just like MJ did to Barkley, Ewing, Malone, etc.

That's exactly right IrishSteelhead. Lebron will be the reason many other great players don't get their championships as the Heat will dominate for the next 4-7 years. There will be teams whose windows of opportunity will close during that time. But I like Lebron so I'm just going to cheer them on.

The heat. Wow

As a neutral fan, the refs really did a great job of keeping the heat in the game with some very questionable calls. But an even bigger story is Derek Rose missing clutch free throws down the stretch in two straight games... so eerily similar to when he cost Memphis a national championship.

You got that right on the questionable calls!!! Miami had 12+ FT than the Bulls in the last two games, but the Bulls still controlled their own fate late in each game and couldn't close, so I agree that's the bigger story.

Either way, my waning interest in the NBA has finally come to a close I think, and may watch it again if they start calling it what it really is, "Sports-themed Entertainment"

I guess we will get to see how good this kid really is. I have always been highly suspect.

Report: Ricky Rubio agrees to play with Minnesota Timberwolves next season - ESPN

I for one am excited to see how his game will transfer to the NBA. This also changes the NBA draft for several teams. The wolves were shopping the 2nd pick to move down because of their multiple needs, but now could afford to keep the pick and draft Williams and pair those 2 with Love, Beasley, and an improving Anthony Randolph to have a decent young core.

So Donnie Walsh is now out as Knicks Pres & GM. James Dolan is the worst owner in sports. If Isiah comes back, you will never hear from me again.

Another great game right now. What a Finals season - 2 great matchups in the NBA and NHL right now. Refs are very questionable right now though. I am rooting for the Mavs, and even I have to say EVERY call is going against the Heat, some of them bs.

I'm surprised the officials didn't give them that possession too

I wonder if Miami would have spent all that money on that fancy smoke machine had they known the only championship celebration they'd have this year would be a pre-season one?

NBA draft has been pretty crazy so far. Knight fell to the Pistons, and Jimmer went early (for him) to the Kings at 10.

The Wizards made a great pick at 6. That guy is a baller... you can tell because of the ridiculously hot European chicks in his entourage.

haha Knicks....

Wizards might be really good defensively now with the Singleton pick. Not a lot of scoring but they're going to be pretty tough to match athletically.

Ugh give me Faried, Singleton, Brooks, Montejunas, or Jackson. Idk, I'll talk myself into the pick I'm sure - maybe Trevor Ariza 2.0.

Man, I feel for you. Is Isaiah running this draft? He was the king of taking guys way higher than their projected value.

Another head-scratcher for sure.

And man, I saw Jordan Hamilton play in h.s. (my buddy coached against him) - that kid is a freak!!! Plenty of baggage though, so maybe that's why he's still on the board. Thought for sure your Knicks were going to take him...

Hoping Brooks or JaJuan Johnson falls all the way to the Wizards at 34. If we get either of those we are going to have a pretty darn solid haul to play with John Wall.

Brooks to the Nets is a steal for them. Celts with love JuJuan.

Sell us a couple of your 2nd round picks LA. The more picks we have, the more likely it is to finally draft a big man who can rebound and defend the rim, right?
