No need to explain my friend. I hope you don't think my rants are intended at you or any poster here. You started a topic that is obviously the talk of all the sports world and seemingly of the nation right now, but I sure am getting tired of turning on the TV, comp, or looking at anything in print, and it's all about Lebron. I am now having nightmares of Lebron dunking over someone with vuvuzela music horning in the background. I wake up screaming KELLY CLARKSON!!!

And yes, as little as I pay attention to basketball, I think he is one of the greatest athletes around. I am just tired of hearing about every detail.

The thing is that this is rare for this type of athelete to be a free agent . He could change an entire franchise and it's pretty much the equivalent of Tom Brady or Peyton Manning being free agents and maybe perhaps bigger. Having said all that I have no problem if espn wants to run a special on July 1st(the 1st day of free agency) and the day he actually signs, but this shit has been non stop. They've brought in these so called experts every single day to report the same stuff. I don't have a problem with Lebron because he had to look out for himself. I blame the media(primarily espn) for trying to make this a soap opera or something. Just my 2 cents.

A worthy 2 cents. When I first saw Lebron in action, then saw his high school clips, I told my mentor, a former NFL athlete and college record holder, that Lebron was the next great thing. My mentor told me Lebron "ain't about shit."

I don't pay attention to pro basketball, but from what little I've seen of him, I really like his style. He seems to be the new "Magic". I hope he can avoid the negative traps that follow his kind of genius.

I've considered watching opera to avoid anymore stories on Lebron.

id rather have boozer back in cleveland than bosh. in order for bosh to go to miami he would lose 27 million because the raptors have zero interest in the heat's roster.

espn has informed lebron's people that they will not wait all hour for the decision on where he's going. they said first 15 minutes they want to know where he's going.

i think the bulls are in good shape. I really hope he goes to bulls but everything i read or hear it's probably going to be the knicks or cleveland. they say he was trying to get boozer to come to cleveland.

If the Clippers were smart they would have offered Lebron to be a player/coach/GM. They're never going to be an elite team and having Lebron would atleast make them a playoff team in the West.

I honestly think that ruined the Bulls chance if anyone can remember what happened with Boozer after Lebron's season thats why.

But it's the "talk of the town."

Imagine the pressure now on a gifted athlete, with so much media attention. What happens now when he takes a Baby Aspirin for pain. Will undercover cops show up with chests fully bloated? And bust him for excessive use of Baby Aspirin?
