Kmoose isn't online so deal with it.

- No injuries!

- Kizer looked like crap on a lot of throws. My favorite play of his was the check down. He needs to do more of that.

- OL was good, not great against a bad front 7. Bars missed on a couple, but overall good.

- Joe Schmidt is horrible at this level of football. Just straight awful. Before you get your panties in a bundle, rewatch the game against a team that should have comparable talent to his. He's a non factor and get pushed down the field, pancaked, or just too slow to do anything.

- Trumbetti and Day played very well. Unfortunately Trumbetti only saw a handful of meaningful snaps.

- CJ is a monster. We need to keep him healthy.

- Surprised the team came out so flat after a loss. They were looking forward to USC and you can tell . At least we better hope they were, because that first half was bad.

- Yoon, turning into a great kicker. That 53 yarder was great.

- Great game by Shummate and Martini.

- Fuller's hands are woof.

- Farley played very well.

- Hope we get Alize more involved going forward.

- Running CJ up 3 scores with 6 to go is bad. Running the starting QB up 3 scores with under a minute to go is worse. Terrible decisions IMO.

What happened with Tillery? I was watching the game and saw him go down, but lots going on so I missed any explanation.

Only saw the second half. This game went about how I expected. The team is still reeling from a loss and was looking ahead to another big game next week, we struggled and then pulled away.

Would've liked to have seen Wimbush and Dexter late, but oh well.

A little puzzled why we didn't see Wimbush late and why Prosise was in on the last drive. Other than that, can't complain - I would have taken a 1 point win after a crushing road loss and looming rivalry game next week. This game had the potential to be trap game. At first it was looking that way after Navy's first drive, but ND did a good job of weathering the storm and slowly but surely controlling the game from then on out. 17 point victory in an otherwise "bleh" performance? This is a different team, for the better.

Defense weathered the storm and only had one turnover. We have enough good athletes to win games like this.

I think Kizer throws much better on the run. Need to run more waggle

Also, while Navy didn't take any to the house, our kick coverage was soft. I really hope we have a kicking and punting plan for Adoree.

I only got to see the first half.

-Max is not a good. Schmidt is not good. Romeo is non existent.
-Our oline is good but they are not great.
-Kiser needs a lot of improvement if we are going to beat good teams.
-The coaching in this game was not the best of the kelly era.
-Day in a beast. What a trill to watch him on the field.
- We won and didn't have any major injuries that we know about yet..

Idk if it was just because I am jealous of michigan having Harbaugh, but I was pretty disappointed in general. I felt there was too much cute playcalling on offense against a team that we have a significant size and speed advantage against. The defense adjusted well in the second half, and I don't know what would have happened if they hadn't forced those turnovers. Fuller's hands are not good - I've said it before and he showed it again this game.

One last thing, I usually never complain about announcers, but I found it ridiculous that our supposedly unbiased announcer gave our opponent a motivational speech at their practice this week. Why the fuck can't we get an actually unbiased announcer? Why does it always have to be somebody from a rival school?

Joe Schmidt and Romeo are leaving along with them FYI. I think our D will be fine next year to be honest. We should have a deep DL.

Gotta give credit to Navy, they are a lot better than people think. They have won comfortably in every single one of their games thus far and can move the ball on anyone. Besides Memphis and Houston, their schedule is not too tough and i think they could go 10-2 this season.

-Prosise is the MVP of the season so far imo. Very reliable and just finds ways to get open from the back field when they load the box.

-Kizer doesn't make too many mistakes, good patience in the pocket and has definitely played well enough to win all of these games.

-Defense needs to improve if we want to win a big game. There's too much talent on this defense to not be holding teams to 200 yards of total offense, especially with how patiently ND runs the spread on offense to burn some clock. I don't like the 3 man front, containment seems to be a big problem against these teams that can run the ball. The schematics seem really complex and may put a cap on the skill of our defense.

-Yoon looks relaxed and has been hitting his kicks. I bet a game or 2 will come down to him this season. Hopefully he can keep it up.

-Receivers looked good today as usual, no big drops.

-OL gets a B. Kizer gets a ton of time to throw and that helps him since he is a young QB. Run blocking has fallen off a bit - granted Clemson and Navy were loading the box.

Good win. Covered the spread against a potential 10 win team. I think offense will have a big day against Southern Cal. Go Irish.

Sometimes being an Irish fan sucks.

We just beat a pretty good Navy team that came in undefeated. There are a lot more negative comments in here than positive. Geesh, come on guys.

The Good
Prosise is very good.
Kizer is very calm
Our pass blocking was very good again.
Yoon looked really good today.
Martini looked good out there.
Shumate is great in run support.

The Bad
Jaylon had a fair amount of missed tackles.
Kizer needs to not stare down his receivers.

The Ugly
Okwara, Schmidt and Redfield had some very rough moments.
Our Defense needs to come out ready to play. No more slow starts.

I dunno, it's going to be a lot of unproven guys. It's hard to imagine us playing at the same level let alone getting better.

Tillery, Day, Jarron Jones, and Hayes in the middle. That's better than our current middle IMO. Trumbetti who's already better than Romeo will be the DE, and Rochelle. With Blankership and an unproven Bonner backing them up. I'll take next year's DL over this years. I thought Jarron Jones was better than Day last year, so they kind of cancel each other out IMO.

ISD podcast was speculating that maybe the reason Trumbetti has been invisible is because he's not used to carrying all that weight yet. I hope so. He was looking like our only viable option at a rush end.
