Let's not forget that Navy's fullbacks had 130+ yards on 21 carries, a 6+ yard per carry average, and 2 of Navy's 3 TDs. That's on the Defensive Line. They are responsible for the fullback. The D Line got pushed around yesterday, as is further evidenced by the ease with which Navy converted all 4 of the 4th downs that they went for. Probably a big issue was having true Freshman Jerry Tillery in there, at the point of attack. Tillery was probably not ready for the cut blocking that Navy does, nor the precision and tenacity that they do it with. Now he's seen it and knows what to expect. But none of the D Linemen was shedding blocks and blowing up option plays with any regularity. The Linebackers left a lot to be desired, but football is a team game...
