OSU fans are saying they should drop Nike since Oregon is their #1 recruiting enemy lol

From reading the limited interaction I have on Twitter with OSU fans, they seem pretty disappointed in their 2026 class - especially if Henry isn't a part of it.

I've seen them call it "unacceptable." I feel so bad for them, imagine winning a natty and then following up with a 12-0 season and you only bag the #7 recruiting class...I hope they all make it through such trying times.

He did get an offer from the Irish...........
BUUUT, unfortunately it is a 5⭐DT we're talking about and they avoid us like the plague.

Lou Nix was the last 5⭐ on any service (Scout) and before that I'm guessing it's Landri in my class😳😳

Crazy IU is currently ranked 37th in the class of 2027 coming off of a national title run. I know Cignetti has made his living in the transfer portal but I can't imagine that it's a sustainable model, especially now that the eligibility rules are officially changing.

Has to be an all-time low class ranking after reaching the top of the sport.

I know they absolutely want Monshun Sales, but I think that they won't break the bank for recruits unless there is an absolute stud in who is genuinely interested in them. They're pretty much all about proven production.

This is probably my vast amount of jealously talking but I just don't see how they can even hope to replicate the vast number of things that had to break their way last year. Maybe Hoover is a hidden stud and Marsh is Randy Moss reincarnated, I don't know. But I just can't see how you can bank on finding an overlooked Heisman caliber QB in the portal every year. Cig is obviously a good coach, I just think the next 2 years will be very interesting to watch them as a top dog.

Combined with the fact that almost all the major contenders last year had first year starting QBs (OSU, Texas, ND, UGA). It was truly a perfect storm.

Not putting in the hottest team in the country also helped.
