I'm fine with Tommy being a captain. He saved our butts a few games last season and showed to be a team player. Not sure I'd put Stockton in the same boat, not that he hasn't put forth effort, just hasn't gotten the same opportunities. I'd be fine if it happened, but I'd but Big Lou there first unless he really has turned it down. Fox could get my vote too.

Offense
Golson: Because he has made leaps as a vocal leader this spring. This honor will only give him more confidence and responsibility thus inching him closer to becoming the complete package. I think the team is rallying around him as well. He may not be a senior but I want to see him walking towards the battle line before the game.. This needs to be his team.

ZMartin: Duh.

Defense

I think Kelly has insinuated that someone needs to TAKE this role in the weight room/summer. Any number of guys could.

Nix has shied away from the role but that doesn't mean his teammates won't persuade him.

BJax, Spond and Tuitt appear the most likely to me but everything I read and hear about Grace pegs him as a natural leader.

Everything I have heard also, but I think it will be hard to name someone who has never had much game experience. Things will be new for him and I would THINK, the staff would want him to get a year under his belt. Of course I could be totally wrong about that too.
