Muted Atmosphere for BC?

This game is seemingly an after thought is the vibe im getting. This is actually one of the biggest games of the year for ND. This is a team that has stuck it to us every year for 6 years and made us look absolutely pathetic a few times.

This is a huge game to get back on track and a loss here would really be detrimental to the season.

If ND rolls up the next 6, the SC game will be looked at like we hung with the best in the country and almost won and buys some equity in polls. Any loses to these upcoming teams makes it more likely that game is looked at like a fluke.

I can guarantee this game is not an after thought as no one on the ND Roster has beaten BC.

JC remembers this game from last year and will want revenge.

From practice reports the team seem to have gotten over USC and look to take out thier frustrations on BC. Weis says that Jimmy is really focused considering how he did last year

Well, I will start on here. The nearest BC thread is almost off the page and last respnded to yesterday. Most new posts here are general or still USC related.

The media is quiet thus far except a little blip of Pat Forde throwing out more Weis on the hot seat if he loses crap.

As far as the other stuff, dont be an ahole. The place sells out for Navy every other year so that other crap is just uneeded wise ass garbage.

Its just an overall "let down" feeling that is palpable.

The bottom line is this is as big a game as any. BC made ND look pathetic last year, maybe the worst they looked since the G Tech game in '07.

All the captains spoke about this today. They are watching the replay of last year's game tonight.

I am not worried. But I do think the game will be a close one.

ND isn't going to overlook this game - THEY BEAT US 6 STRAGHT TIMES - they are 5-2 - - how can you over look that. Campus is on midterm break -it's quiet there -however - so is the 20 hour caoching limit on break as well - it's all BC all the time. Trust me - they are just being very workman like. I was afraid the team would peak too early in the week for USC... taking it slow BUT SURE works for me. I want them to feel they have a big-time score to settle on Saturday - not in a frenzy on Wednesday, and no campus activities but football and then peter-out by Friday night. After last Saturday theyhave spent a lot of energy - I'd rather see a shorter dip into the emotional well closer to the game.

ND NEEDS THIS GAME!!! many thought last week was the season, i have said all along that this is the most important game of the year. Win or lose to Southern Cal, a loss to BC would be devastating. it would spoil the momentum of a win, or start the spiral downward after the loss.

Yea same here its wierd and thats y I hate losses. but once the game starts that excitement will b back I'm sure
