One of the greatest polls ever conducted on IE. These results could be sold to marketers of miracle whip. Wait- that **** doesn't even GET marketed.

My dad mixes his tuna with MW, though.

How important is MW to me? I'll get all my sandwich stuff out, but if there's no MW, I don't eat.

Could this be a regional condiment? Stoic, are you from Florida?

more investigation.....

Actually, I seem to be the only one who does the MW down here. Now back home in Minnesota, EVERYONE used MW. One of many reasons why Minnesota is superior to Florida.

So the questions becomes... Stoic are you from Minnestoa? or the Mid-West region?

My dad is from West Virginia/MD.

It DOES seem like a very Minnesota thing, now that you mention it.

My whole family's from right here in Indiana. I was raised on Miracle Whip. MW and tuna, MW and peanut butter sandwiches, MW in deviled eggs. . . MMMMM, Miracle Whip.

Never ever tasted mayonaisse until I was in my teens. Can't stand that gluey, bland, tasteless crap.

Now there are different mayo's with stuff like pepper sauce, olive oil, and horseradish. It just can't keep up with the tangy zip!

They have to try to doctor it up with all that other stuff just to try to make it at all edible. Still tastes like Elmer's Glue. Kind of like acorn squash. I've had people try to shove that down my throat in all different kinds of ways--with onions and sausage, with brown sugar and butter, whatever. No matter what you do to it, it still tastes like DIRT.

Now, Miracle Whip, that's a different story. I can eat that right out of the jar with a spoon. Just a small slice of heaven.

This is one Minnesotan who doesn't "do" MW. The same is true of my first 6 years in NY, 12 in FL, 4 in IN, another 5 in FL and the last 32 in MN. I prefer my horseradish "straight up," thank you.

I couldn't figure out what the heck this thread was all about when I first got on here this morning, but now after readying the other thread it makes this one really funny.

I went with miracle whip and I'm in my 20's.

Man that Miracle Whip or Mayonaise stuff is the NASTIEST crap out there. I'm not eating ANYTHING that resembles Jizz. It dont smell right, it dont look right. Efffff that crap.

Matter of fact, have you ever seen those episodes on Maury show that someone brings a big platter of mustard out and someone starts running because they have a wierd phobia? thats me with miracle whip or mayo. I'm running away from that junk.

Make a peanut butter and miracle whip sandwich along with a piece of iceburg lettuce.
Don't knock it till you tried it. Yes I'm over 45

Wow, this is spooky. Just watched "The Shining" again last night, and there is an intense conversation between the ghost of the former caretaker and Jack Nicholson about the need to "correct" their wives. Hope such drastic correction wasn't necessary to drag your wife into the hellish abyss of mayonaise-dom.

Is that lettuce on the side or integrated in the sandwich? Creamy Smooth or Crunchy? It could make a difference.

Either way I would think that the PB would provide more than enough sugar to proscribe Miracle Whip and prescribe mayo.
