Let's get conservative and say it's only two complexes and only one resident per apartment. That's 548 citizens being terrorized by these illegals. Realistically we know it's more. Without our government going all Communist and locking down the internet, I don't know how you combat misinformation. It's rampant everywhere, but it's especially prevalent in politics on both sides...and it goes all the way up to our elected officials. Given that fact, even if the government policed the information, I don't see a scenario where they're still not lying to us or manipulating the narratives. I think I'd rather have freedom with unfiltered misinformation if the alternative is 1984.

A good start would be educating young people to think again instead of indoctrinating them. Teach them critical thinking skills, how to fire up their BS detectors, and teach them the fine art of logical thought where facts and reason are more important than feelings and wishes. Arm them with the ability to think for themselves and discern fact from BS instead of parroting whatever propaganda they've been force fed, and teach them how to tell the difference.
