They really want us to believe that the president, who receives probably the most often and comprehensive preventative health care out of any individual on this planet, had prostate cancer develop to stage four unnoticed.

It was always the plan to try to wheelchair him around for another campaign so they could instal Kamala

There's essentially no chance that they just discovered Joe's prostate cancer. About a 99.9% chance, given the healthcare and checkups a president receives, that they've known for quite some time.

Hard to believe that people who lied to us about everything else would have lied about cancer too.

I posted this in the Biden thread, but since it's being discussed here, I'll drop it here as well.

As someone who had prostate cancer I feel for the guy, but to be honest I really wonder if this was announced to move the conversation away from his mental state while he was in office? Prostate cancer is one of the slowest growing cancers. He's had prostate cancer for a while. He and his doctors have to have known it. In general, it takes about 7-8 years before it metastasizes to the bone. Even if it's aggressive he's likely to have had it for a number of years. Unfortunately, there isn't much that can be done once it gets to the bones.

They obviously covered it up. Jill is quite the ghoul but again, not news. It is a political nothingburger distraction from the real issues that are lied about and covered up. Prostate cancer doesn't make you unfit to serve, dementia does.

It was clearly his family trying to change the conversation from how terrible of a person Jill Biden is and how we just survived a weekend at Bernie’s presidency. It’s like invoking Beau to ease up the criticism. The probe should only get more intense now as we now know the coverup was way worse.

Of course the Dem's lied. Of course they closed ranks. It bit them in the ass.

The bigger deal is that the media totally covered for them. They never asked the tough questions because they knew the answer. Instead they carried the Dem's water and talked cheap fakes.

Well now it's round two. The media now has another opportunity to "ask the tough questions" and start to redeem themselves. Will they? I doubt it.

The bigger threat to democracy is the lack of credible information to the people. Our media is overwhelmingly controlled by the Democrats and has proven it will lie about pandemics, presidents, or anything else. We can't even have an unrigged debate for POTUS anymore. The trust in the media is long gone and that is bad for a government filled by voters.

Another thought that crossed my mind...is the medical staff at Walter Reed in hot water now? Are they going to come under investigation? Did they accurately give Biden a clean bill of health over the past 4 years?

Bit of a logic stretch to claim "they knew autopen had legal issues" because Biden actually signed the only pardon he cared about. It's the only thing his dementia riddled brain could probably process and I wouldn't be surprised if they had extras for him to sign so they wouldn't have to explain how he already did it. Can you imagine every thing you plop in front of him "What is this?" "What is this for? "why am I signing this?" "What about Hunter?". Just autopen it and skip the goon.

They either did a terrible job or lied about it. It was negligent or a coverup, you choose. Hard to believe the President wasn’t getting top notch care.

You know it’s dirty when they won’t even address it. This looks bad. Zero credibility.

Inappropriate to look backwards. Nah. It's inappropriate to hide such a diagnosis going into an election. It also shows a lack of responsibility on their part. None of this is surprising though, if the Democrats are willing to rig their own primary for Hillary over Bernie, they'll certainly cover up Biden's health and the fact they're running the show for him as puppeteers.

Looks like they asked them to switch to more lifestyle pieces and celeb interviews, but the production team isn't going to abide. They're going to continue down the current path because "that's what our viewers want."

Trump has actually been pretty good for The View's ratings. Around 2020 the show was doing a 7 it looks like on average. Around summer of '21 it started dipping and it dropped all the way to a 4 until January of this year. When Trump took office it jumped back up to over a 5. It looks like it may currently be in another slow decline.

Slowly it feels like Tapper's statements regarding the presses role has gotten stronger.

From the things I've read it feels like he started out mostly trying to pass the blame onto Biden's camp with a small P.S. at then end .... oh by the way, the press could've done better. Deservedly, he got a lot of push back.

No way in hell am I buying a book from a guy trying to profit from a situation where he was part of the problem.

He was 100% part of the problem. They wanted to push the lies and support the cause. They now know they have no credibility and this is somehow supposed to make us view them as honest?
