This guy is all hat and no cattle.
He's a McClelland or a Burnside. We need a Grant.

Big part of this has to be on ND. Virtually every organization that’s worth a crap has coaching for executive presence, especially when elevating someone into leadership for the first time. I don’t expect him to be stoic all the time, but it’s not like ND isn’t used to having attention on it 24/7 and needs to prep someone for that.Probably some adjustment from being an assistant/coordinator where no one really cares what you do to being the head coach where eyes are on your every move. Like a number of things, I suspect he will figure it out.
Some really unhinged stuff in here. Like entitled people that can't handle disappointment or setbacks. There's disappointment, then there are some of the posts in here.
Wow.
More animated than a couple of facial expressions that don't connote confidence? And the appearance that he's not speaking to anyone during games? Yes. He doesn't have to be on 10, but right now he's too neutral. So Marcus Freeman needs to be more animated on the sidelines during games and this is going to help some of you guys here?
I really don't know how it solves anything. A grown man acting like an imbecile in the heat of the moment.
This is really still a thing for people?
Schematic advantage.Who is asking for him to
We can schedule around this
And it's not like these problems haven't been apparent in the first 5 games. Red zone offense in particular has been horrific all year.“I can’t come up with a magic answer … it’s the lack of execution,” Freeman said. “And the only way to fix a lack of execution is to go back and study it and say, ‘OK, what aren’t we doing right?’ And then you watch the film.”
Shouldnt he already know what the problem is? What is he going to see on the film that he didn't already see live?
I want to see him succeed at ND. I genuinely do. He seems like an incredible person, husband, father, etc. But, the dude is clearly swimming in it and has no idea how to lead this program.
If your team can play as well as they did against UNC and BYU but don’t against absolutely terrible teams in Marshall and Stanford then the coaches are the problem. He is the Head Coach. It matters a great deal.
Want to know how bad things are? SP+ has us at FORTY THREE right now. We would be 7 point dogs at Illinois. Remarkable.
Bueller....Bueller...Do you want that teacher? Or do you want the one that gets you excited to come to class, and excited to partake in what you are doing? That doesn't mean you act like an imbecile...It means you do your job with a sense of enthusiasm that creates an environment where everyone has more adrenaline to excel! So Marcus Freeman needs to be more animated on the sidelines during games and this is going to help some of you guys here?

Frankly I don’t know why ND fans hated Brian Kelly for getting angry and holding players on the sidelines. They wouldn’t be happy Bama fans then because Saban gets upset all the time about poor execution.
Freeman looks like he is coaching his son’s baseball game. This is big time college football.
Let's keep in mind the thead we're all currently posting in was started after the season began 0-2. College football fans are insufferable after defeats.Bueller....Bueller...Do you want that teacher? Franklin has a top ten team and freeman recruits better, so I’ll take itLove said that it meant a lot to him and his family to sit and talk with Freeman prior to the game (not sure if it was Stanford or an earlier game).
I’m skeptical that BK ever did a sit down with a recruit the morning of a game. Anyone have any insight on this question?
Maybe Freeman is worrying too much about recruiting and less time about coaching. I’m getting Franklin vibes.
