So, with Brady and Manning needing an asterisk next to their stats, who should we be considering as the G.O.A.T. now?

There is no question it is Joe Montana. End of story.

And there is no need to put an asterisk next to Manning, since there is no evidence he ever cheated or took a banned substance.

so one can get HGH legally?

Yes.

And to think that Ashley Manning had an illegal prescription is just dumb.

There are "illegal" uses for it, but helping with pregnancy, due to lower hormone production, is NOT one of them.

The only way to get legal real human growth hormone is by finding out how to get HGH prescribed by a doctor. This is a controlled pharmaceutical medication designed for two main purposes. The first is to correct cases of short stature in children, enabling them to reach their ideal height. The second, and the one which is the focus of this website, is to correct adult growth hormone deficiency … a true medical condition that is a result of decreased hormone production.

Not sure how accurate it is, but the documentary maintains that one wouldn't go to an anti-aging clinic for any of the legal medical reasons to obtain HGH. Which lends credence to the idea that it was either for infertility or for Peyton.

SO if it were shipped DIRECTLY to ASHLEY MANNING, then that lends 100% credence that it WAS for her, to help her get pregnant...which is why Manning is likely so furious because the report is entirely based on a HIPAA violation of ASHLEY MANNING.

And considering the fact that she did give birth to twins March 31, 2011, meaning that she indeed became pregnant in 2010, when Peyton was rehabbing, it is ENTIRELY plausible that it was shipped to her because it WAS for her.

Pats fans feel slighted, so they feel that they NEED to be reassured by ripping apart Ashley Manning for taking fertility drugs.

JFC people. This is NOT a story and certainly one that has anything to do with Peyton, which is why NOBODY outside of Boston gives a fuck about it.

Except there's video of the Guyer Institute confirming his employment as beginning in October of 2011. So, something doesn't add up.

What part of a surreptitiously-filmed portion of a unpaid intern, who had NO access to patient records, delivery manifests, etc., screams "smoking gun"? He was literally not even an employee until two years ago (you know, two years AFTER Manning was even there), so the only thing that is confirmed is that he was an unpaid intern, NOT an actual employee of the company.

What does not add up is the idea that ASHLEY MANNING's desire for a baby is somehow anyone's fucking business.

SHE had it directly delivered to HER precisely because she was having trouble getting pregnant, and the time she ordered it and the birth of her twins is exactly in line with everything, including the fact that it would take a major HIPAA violation of ASHLEY MANNING for this "story" to come out into the open; and you wonder why Ashley and Peyton guard their personal privacy so closely?

It is not a story about Peyton, other than the fact that he is her husband...and PATS FANS want to rip open a deeply personal time in their life SOLELY to attempt to stain an entire family...and you wonder why Ashley Manning guards her privacy so much.

You guys are just sick.

And it does not "confirm his employment", as he was an intern. Interns are NOT employees. He worked there for a summer. Summer internships are typically not even paid internships. He was not a full-time employee until 2013, so please stop with the hyperbolic statement that the video is the smoking gun on Peyton Manning receiving HGH for doping purposes, when even AJ denies that the story was even insinuating that. In fact, their questions that they wanted answers to would ALL be the result of patient records/confidentiality and result in the institute violating HIPAA in order to provide those records.

Only a Pats fan would see that kind of personal invasion of privacy as "legitimate", when it is not.

For you Pats fans that cry injustice.

North: Nantz's non-story remark hurts his credibility

Mike North

The recent reaction to the Dec. 29 report by Al Jazeera that HGH was delivered to Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has been interesting.

Several other well-known athletes were also implicated: former New York Yankee Derek Jeter, Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews, former Bears defensive end Julius Peppers, Philadelphia first baseman Ryan Howard and Washington first baseman Ryan Zimmerman to name a few.

NFL representatives, aided by the mainstream media, has been somewhat successful in dismissing any wrongdoing by Manning saying he did not have a connection to the Guyer Institute in Dyer, Indiana, even though Manning did visit the clinic in 2011 when he was recovering from neck surgeries.

The clinic has stated that the claims involving Manning and HGH are false.

I don't know what the truth is regarding HGH and Manning, but my problem isn't whether he did or didn't get a delivery. My complaint is with how the story has or hasn't been covered.

The story was notable because of the prominence of the individuals involved.

Howard and Zimmerman are suing the publication that printed the accusations, which in my world goes a long way in making me believe they are innocent of any wrongdoing. Manning says he will address the situation in more detail after the football season is over. His vehement comments before Sunday's NFL games showed him red-faced and angry, as he proclaimed his innocence.

But the attitude of many in the media over the story -- or non-story as they see it -- leads me to believe there is a cover-up.

Jim Nantz, a CBS announcer, and Phil Simms, the former New York Giant quarterback and CBS commentator, didn't address the Manning situation during the Broncos-Charger game on Sunday. Nantz appeared earlier in the week on WFAN in New York with Mike Francesa saying it was a non-story, and didn't want to add layers.

Shame on you my friend. Francesa should have followed up and pushed the issue, but he quickly forgot about it.

Listen, it's cool for Manning and Nantz to be friends; they share the same agent, Sandy Montag, and have done Papa Johns and Sony commercials together. But all Nantz had to do was acknowledge the story and then simply move on.

Making it a non-story was a mistake. I think Nantz's credibility and integrity are in question by ignoring the story. It's not his decision to decide if it's a story. He should give the people the facts and let them decide.

I can't help but ask if the boxes in question were delivered to Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees or any other big-name QBs, would it have been a story?

Oh yeah! This is a cover-up of maybe very little, but to not even discuss it when Cleveland Browns QB Johnny Manziel spins a record at a nightclub and it's big news, I have to disagree with Nantz.

Credibility is an important thing in this world and right now, Nantz has none. Stay tuned!

You just told me she gave birth in March of 2011. I just told you that there is video (linked below) that shows that they confirmed he started working (or interning) in October of 2011.

The Guyer Institute also tried to say he interned away from the office, yet the receptionist/HR lady seems to know Sly instantly.

Again, something doesn't add up about this story. Maybe it's as simple as this lady at Guyer somehow messed up the employment dates. We're already supposed to believe that his wife was having infertility issues at the same time that he was going through a potentially career-ending injury? Now we're also supposed to believe that this institution messed up an employment verification? Maybe that's all true, but I don't think I'm being "sick" by wondering why facts aren't adding up here.

This was BS by Nantz. I'm not buying into the NFL/media cover-up conspiracy, but it was an annoying move by Nantz who is buddy-buddy with Peyton.

Please check your facts if you're going to go CAPS-heavy also. Peyton Manning was throwing for 4,700 yards in 2010, he was not rehabbing. He sat out 2011.

Maybe this whole report is BS. But it certainly alleges that Sly was at Guyer in the fall of 2011 when Peyton was rehabbing. And we all know what Sly said was being shipped then. Those alleged facts don't add up with the fertility.
