Great album. I ended up purchasing it on vinyl in the 80's just as cd's were coming out. Sadly, I sold my vinyl collection in one lot to a man that came to one of my wife's yard sales. Gave him everything... down to the concert ticket stubs I had placed inside the plastic covers I had the albums in.
On a side note... my first cd purchase was Aldo Nova. "It's just a fantasy" now.
And a little trivia... what does Aldo Nova have in common with Notre Dame?
That guy is probably still furiously rubbing his hands together and cackling maniacally.
Vinyl has made a huge comeback. I am a collector myself, and can tell you, don't go look at what some of those albums go for now. You can get deals here an there, but good condition classics (especially with concert stubs) can go for big bucks. For instance, I got the Beatle's White Album at a thrift shop the other day for $20. It's $80 at my local vinyl shop.
I hate to ask... What did you get for your collection?
