actually that may not matter, if SC gets hit with heavy sanctions the NCAA will most likely let any recent signees bounce where ever will have them without losing a year

I'm not sold on whether he is a good or bad coach.

But one thing is for sure, this guy is a top notch recruiter. I was hoping that Petey's replacement would be a poor recruiter.

USC may be a top notch team again in a few years.

Plus Chow and Papa Kiffin only make things better.

Hopefully his players continue to have off field issues, because SC is already on a short chain.

YES YES, he is not petey, lets just see how this works out, remember Gerry Faust was given great coaches, players, all that was needed down to the strength coach from Nebraska, and he was not up to it, petey was a $#@% but he could win. Lane Kiffin is still wet behind the ears and all the advantages in the world do not improve him as a coach. USC took a shot in the dark and hope it comes up good. This is a pretty big gamble but they are staying in their same mode-outlaws. Let's see what the NCAA does.

Yeah, I think this is good for USC. Not as good as Carroll, but I wouldn't be complaining if I were a USC fan. I liked him at Tenesse and the way he acted towards all the SEC coaches(I hate the SEC). I'm going to enjoy beating him though.
