Is anybody else excited by the visit from Louis Nix? I know he's committed to Miami, but he's one of the elite D-linemen that ND usually has a hard time getting. Miami and Florida State seem to sign several of them each class. Haha, not to mention the other Florida school...

Yes, I'm very excited about his camping at ND starting on Sun, and running through Wed., if I read correct. I know he's a soft verbal to Miami, but if he chooses us, it would be huge, IMO. If he stays with Miami, I can't fault him at all because that was his first choice, but if we could somehow add him to the mix, that would take care of a huge need for our defense in the future. I also like the size of Beau Allen, and wish he'd gotten an offer instead of having to camp, but I'm not the coach, so what the hell does it matter what I want.

Any news on how Shembo and Moore enjoyed their visits? I'm really high on Kendall Moore, and I think Shembo could be a sleeper in this class. Just wondering how their visits went this past weekend along with Matt James.

Both completely loved ND on their visits. Shembo was basically flabbergasted. He couldn't believe how great it was, but he'll wait until after he visits VaTech later this summer to make his decision. Moore loved it completely, and could pop at any time; he's not sure when he'll announce. We're not a shoe-in though, UNC and LSU are firmly in the mix here...

James had a good visit, but is going to the BBQ in the Swamp. And those Florida girls sure look nice this time of year. Since Massa is not coming to camp, things are not looking great with James.

Yeah, and Gaston, Beau and Olaniyan all thought they did well enough to get offers. With Prince Shembo and Kendall Moore so high on ND, it's going to be very tough for Olaniyan to get an offer based on his position, despite the fact ND would move right up the charts with him. Beau and Gaston, well, if they did really well, one or even the 2 could get an offer...
