Sure... you do understand Bloodsport was a movie, right?

There were @ 257 fans of MMA outside of Japan and Brazil in '93 before the UFC started.

So I guess you are right.

I disagree that it is like WWF.
I agree that Royce defined and set in motion modern MMA.
There was MMA before the UFC and like I said, I thought it was more tough guy and brutal than sport.
I have no idea how many fans there were, I know I watched it on cable television.
I disagree with your condescending tone. But I am getting used to it.

One of the worst cards in terms of entertainment I've ever seen. There was maybe one fight that was remotely fun to watch. They matched up 2 boxers in almost every fight and it just got so repetitive and boring. Really hope the next couple are better.

There wasn't MMA until the UFC or someone talking about the UFC coined it.

We all saw Tough Man contests with Butterbean on TV before the UFC but it wasn't a competition of different disciplines like the UFC, Pride or Pancrase.

Bones said it pretty well in the post fight. Gustafson gave him the bet right of his career and probably would going forward but Anthony Rumble Johnson is new and interesting. I love the first Jones vs. Gustafson fight so I'll vote for that as his next fight.

Rumble Johnson is back near the top? I quit watching about five years ago, so I'm definitely not disputing what you say, but I figured Johnson was on his way out after Koschek got him a while back. Interesting

True it was a pretty lame lineup.

I'm ready to see McGregor beat up Siver on the 18th.

183 will be decent with Anderson's return, hopefully he destroys Diaz.

184 will be a lot better with Weidman vs. Belfort, Rousey beating some chick up, and Frank Mir fighting Bigfoot

Admittedly, I'm not as in tuned as i used to be but from what they said last night Rumble and Gustafson are fighting to get a shot at the title. One thing about Rumble is that guy can knock out anybody with one punch or kick which makes every fight of his interesting.

With the support of my family, I have entered into a drug treatment facility. I want to apologize to my fiancée, my children, as well as my mother, father, and brothers for the mistake that I made. I also want to apologize to the UFC, my coaches, my sponsors and equally important to my fans. I am taking this treatment program very seriously. Therefore, at this time my family and I would appreciate privacy."
