Don't tell DriskellPeople weren't sure about Joe at the beginning of the season, but he's proven to be the guy.
Masterful job with the line this year. Young, inexperienced, and undersized yet here we are.
Crazy to think this is probably the worst o-line we'll have for the foreseeable future.
Let's assume you hold onto everyone (I'm not sure we will, there very well may be transfers)... you're looking at potentially:Crazy to think this is probably the worst o-line we'll have for the foreseeable future.
I think they could all be “nfl guys” but there’s plenty of projection needed for the younger ones and Coogan and Spindler will be UFAsLet's assume you hold onto everyone (I'm not sure we will, there very well may be transfers)... you're looking at potentially:
Tackle: Wagner, Knapp, Lambert*, Black*
Guard: Schrauth, Spindler, Pendleton**
C: Craig, Coogan
Flex: Jagusah
So that's 7 proven guys of which 5 are likely to play in the NFL. Then two very highly rated unproven tackles, and another guard that got burn this year and conducted himself well for a young guy. You're legitimately looking at being 9-10 deep with ~7 of those guys being NFL dudes.
What Rudolph has done this year has been remarkable, and what he might do with proven pieces could be obscene.

An anonymous coach who faced ND this seasonWho is he quoting?
Huh, if it was Army I feel a lot worse about the quote than if it was IndianaAn anonymous coach who faced ND this season
He would have taken about 20 paragraphs to give that 2 paragraph compliment and it would have mainly been about himself.Probably Franklin
Could be Cignetti. I know everyone hates the guy (I don't care for him either), but I watched part of his interview on the Gameday podcast and he was super impressed with us. Seemed more impressed by us than OSU.Probably Franklin
I can picture him being a great speaker and knowledgeable source for this though. The way he talks big is because Indiana needs itYes. Cignetti talks more than almost anybody.
The other program that I thought of was an assistant coach at Georgia. Such a guy would think he'd played better potential individuals, but units which were not as good as NDs.
His on field product has been pretty good. Lets see what his proteges do in the NFL first though. He is what people wanted Harry 2.0 to be
They basically give it away in the article that the anonymous DC is Tom Allen. He references playing Ohio State and shutting down Smith.Huh, if it was Army I feel a lot worse about the quote than if it was Indiana

I mixed that up…meant to say it is the DC from Indiana. Time for another cup of coffeecould also be indiana
It honestly could be either one of themI mixed that up…meant to say it is the DC from Indiana. Time for another cup of coffee
If Rocco is healthy and Charles is in charge...with a healthy love.I honestly feel more confident in tonight’s OL than I have at any point this season (assuming Rocco can play effective) To me, that’s a huge deal.
