There could be numerous last minute, surprise guests for Invasion with:
Rivals 5 Star Challenge going on in Indy on June 9-11

Sound Body Sound Mind held in Detroit on June 9-10
A lot of talent will be a short drive away.

Communication is ongoing, he says he will visit campus again. So it that regard it's not done.
Wiltfong and one of the Ohio State guys recently CB'd him to Ohio St.
He's supposed to make it for Invasion. We'll see if that happens. He's in Indy for the Rivals 5 Star Challenge that weekend also.

Seems like the most likely of the non-offer DB's, to eventually get that offer. I could see an II game plan of push for DJ Johnson and offer Hallet. See how prospects like Avery Young, Starling Thomas, etc. perform and go from there.
How about instead of offering the diamond in the rough 3-stars we actually show some patience and continue to recruit

I know that ND is probably taking 5-6 DBs so you need a bigger net then that. However, I think Polian can pull some wins out of the West Coast (Hufanga, Gordon, Irvin, etc.), Lyght can actually keep consistent contact with some guys, and people will notice the joys of having their talent coached by Elko. It's just tiring to see a crew of 15-16 DBs on the roster and ten of them be 3-star "steals" or last minute takes vs. having 14-15 O-Lineman on the roster and 13-14 of them are 4 or 5-star recruits. You need "dudes" to play your system.

Why are 3 stars diamond in the roughs? Dowell is a 3 star. Why are you butt hurt about him? There are some 3 star guys who should be 4's that ND is on. ND needs to bring in at least one of these uber athletes at CB. In regards to Hufanga... I'd forget him right now and offer Paul Moala. Just as good of an athlete, maybe better and hugely productive at a top flight program.

Lol, I had to pull a rabbit out of the hat on that one. I'm just impatient and never satisfied with recruiting, which is why I take it out on not offering a borderline 4-star in June when signing day is 8 months away and the Irish did go 4-8 last year.
