Inside Info on QB

Well I was at work today for 9 hours and I see a guy wearing a ND shirt. I go up to him and tell him "its about time I see some ND fans in hear, Im sick of the OSU fans" He then says "yeah....all the OSU fans need to die". I laughed at that one and asked him who he thinks the starting QB is going to be. He then says "I have a relative thats deep into the ND football program (coach or player? i dunno didnt ask) and the word is that Jones is going to start the opener" I asked him if he heard anything about clausen and he said "Yeah hes behind Jones as the backup and sharpley is behind Clausen, but my "guy" said that clausen was in front for the longest time but the elbow surgery is keeping him back."

The guy seemed like he was telling the truth and he seemed pretty knowledgeable about the situation. So take it for what its worth.

Thats kinda what I figured would happen. I predicted Jones to be the starter because he has more "Playmaker" ability with his speed and his throwin ability. Jones reminds me too much of a man we all know by the name of Tony Rice or Kevin McDougal. Remember those guys. So watch for jones to be the starter and watch how good he is. He's going to surprise alot of people.

Yeah im excited to see what he can do. Never saw any recruiting videos of him. Be nice to see a QB beable to scramble and throw. But I see clausen taking over if jones has a bad 2-3 games.

According to Tike, Jones has been in the doghouse since his arrest, and Clausen has been injured and out of it since he got onto campus. Tike also tells my uncle that Junior is the sure bet starter, and don't be surprised if you see Armando Allen taking the reigns in the spread offense some too.

Now thats confusing lol. I could see Jabbie starting off his spring game performance. But to say clausen has been out of it right when he got on campus. Bullshit! Why recruit someone that highly touted and say "Hey your arm is hurt so you have no chance to start" i dont buy that. Also, if Jones has been in the doghouse since his Mary Jane incident, dont you think Weis would have suspended him for a few games or the year if he was not going to be the starter? Seriously now its all pointing to DD to be the starter. With Clausen breathing down his neck if Jones messes up.

Im pulling for JC. Got to meet him at the All American game last year and he really impressed me. Wasnt the best personality, but he was still interesting. Saw him in a few practice sessions before the game, and believe me, the reports dont lie when they say he has a rocket arm. Think John Elway, and that's JC. He can launch it 80 yards easy and hit a moving target. I have video confirmation if anyone wants to see it, too.

Anyway, I've been wondering for a while why everyone is expecting just ONE QB. Wouldnt that further allow CW to play this "who's going to start" thing past the GT game? He seems to enjoy holding this card, and a 2 QB system would accomplish that. And a while back he even said he's no opposed to doing it. Use DJ as a Tim Tebow-ish player and have JC in there for play-action and most passing plays.
