On TV you could tell a lot of Colt fans made the trip. Looked like there were a lot of empty seats as well. On the broadcast, Tucker jokingly said he wondered if Steichen was trying to set a record for most bootlegs in a game. Keep running it until they stop it.

Did he really say that? 😆 yeah it just happened over and over again but it kept working. We met a lot of Colt fans on the walk in and I got a couple of shout outs on the ND shirt I wore.

I don't know if Callahan is going to survive the season. You hate to do that to Cam but he is terrible. You should have heard the fans when they got that delay of game penalty, which made it a 64 yard FG that he missed. They understandably went bonkers.

I think that Pierce play that he got hurt was a catch. He leaps up, catches it, comes down with it while getting body slammed to the ground and completely rolls over before it comes out of his hands. At that point he he down by contact. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

Here’s my thing on AD: It’s on Shane that he allowed AD the chance to hold the DB on Taylor’s run.

They showed (3Q) the team in the huddle and AD mulling around sulking by himself. That’s all I need to see. They cut to him on the bench, head in hands, pouting. That’s all I need to see. Some guys mess up, go up and down the bench and slap hands and let you know they’re ready to lock back in. AD did the opposite. He’s just not mature enough to be able to play a big role for this team. The fact that Shane trotted him out there to block on that play over Dulin is an indictment of Shane. Even if JT doesn’t house that with just a solid block, it’s at minimum another first down on the drive.

He made one of the dumbest mistakes you can make and his teammates babied him afterward. I don’t think that’s what he needed. I think he needed someone in his ass (figuratively) telling him he fucked up and to never do that shit again and to get his head back in the game. But no, he just went back out there all sad and cost them another TD. Once he started moping around he should have been benched.

To me, this shows weakness from Steichen.
After JT did it, he should have immediately instituted a rule about ONLY handing the ball to referees, no dropping it ever, no showboating. That it is still happening tells me way more about Shane than it does AD.

My 12 year old son, the ever optimistic Colts fan, predicted the Colts to go 12-5 before the season. I thought it was merely child like faith but I’m starting to think they just might do it. If they show up and play how they can they should get at least 2 of the next 3 (Cardinals and Titans both at home). Even if they don’t get the Chargers that puts them at 6-2, which I doubt anyone saw coming.

Report is it's an ACL and MCL. I feel for the guy. He was doing great. I have no idea how that effects a kicker as far as recovery and performance, but he's got a lot to overcome.
