Rabbithole only proves how impossible it is for government to be this useless - the proper word is complicit. If I can google this shit from 2000 miles away - anyone even trying to defend this should be shunned from civilized society.
Google maps and images for 1411 Nicollet now famous Learing Center. Restaurant opened a few months ago on the storefront cutting all windows from the "daycare" giving them the more obscure hole in the wall to control access shortly after the news expose earlier in 2025 for this repeat offender location as far back as an FBI raid in 2015 when it changed from Salama Child Care to Quality Learning.

This video was from earlier this year as you see the restaurant mural was up well in advance of renovating the storefront and you can see side entrance door has been moved. Taking down the window signage fronting the street and adding the Learing Center sign (with street address mispelled too) to the sketchy side door makes a lot of sense if you want to keep those pesky white dude oppressors at bay.

Google Maps is nice enough to keep snapshots over time. You can see the front door gets boarded up between June 2019 and July 2021.

It is a 7000 sqft lot with the building having 5000sqft first floor plus 5000 sqft basement. Anyone want to defend approving this place running 99 children in a single point of egress? Looks like rear has bars on windows from jogging around the block on maps. Seems like a dozen disqualifying factors should be present for this location but what do I know.

We have seen some of this but "o On May 9 and 10, 2022, staff were unable to provide the first and last names for most of the children present." LOL because they rounded them up for the inspection .... oh wait "An individual from another child care program but not affiliated with Quality Learning Center Inc., arrived at the center and gave the DHS licensors another bin that contained approximately 46 children’s files." - why the fuck aren't people keying on that nugget?
Can we just give Minnesota to Canada already.

25. Violation: The program did not comply with attendance record documentation requirements. Attendance records were not available to the commissioner.
No one on site on May 10, 2022, had access to attendance records. It was determined through a conversation with the license holder and an administrative staff person that the center director is in charge of the attendance records and is the only person who has access to those records. The DHS licensors were told by the administrative staff person that the director checks all children in as they arrive and checks them out when they leave for the day. The director was off site during the licensing visit and was not reachable to assist in accessing the attendance records. The DHS licensors were informed that the director was on site earlier in the day to check children in and would be back at the end of the day to check them out as they depart.
Why even have regulators if they aren't going to jump like a rabid animal on a site like this? All of these violations are resolved via paper - don't see documentation of more site visits.

I agree she won't serve long, but since it was a federal prosecution, she may be behind bars longer than we think.
