Probably for protection of their families. Cartels love to go after families in order to get the police to stop. Would the majority of the illegals do this? Of course not, but it only takes one. Then you have the protesters that have shown a propensity for destroying property.

The cartels don't care if people are getting deported, if anything that is more business for them.

They are actually. Some of them own restaurants and other businesses to help launder… do you think they are hiring a bunch of Johnny B Goodes from the church down the street? There is a lot of money at the top but just like any criminal gang or organization there is low hanging fruit that don’t work 40 hour cartel weeks or make enough cartel money to support a living. Often times they are just one off jobs that they are made/forced into or paid little. A lot of people give cartel too much credit for being a fair and equal employer.

The gang members haven't been shown lately by the White House.

Still don't think gov employees should be hiding their faces and not showing any identification. But that is my opinion

No, but you missed my point. I can see these protestors using similar strategy. Murder of course not, but given they have destroyed property protesting, I could see them going after an agents house, car, etc. if they knew who they are.

I have some knowledge in this arena. Not showing ID sometimes is a big no-no. It is sometimes seen as a big integrity issue. But there are times where you are operating with a covert identity we’re showing any sort of credentials is meaningless but then there are times where safety is an issue and it is completely OK to not show your credentials if you can make a case that your operating this way under your own safety. It’s still considered a no no but it’s one of those things where it is completely fine to ask for forgiveness later. It is completely plausible if you think you’re walking up to a terrorist to not introduce yourself and show your credentials, for example.

I’m not worried about my feelings. Advocating for going after ICE will get some unwanted attention to the page. People like you shouldn’t exist or at least enjoy the freedoms people like ICE/DHS provide you.
