Really an amazing player for the ND men's basketball team that has some awe inspiring moments over his career. Had an academic suspension but returned to graduate.

- NCAA Consensus First Team All American in 2014-15
- Led Notre Dame to first ever basketball conference championship winning the ACC Tournament
- Led Irish to the Elite Eight in NCAA Tournament
- 1st round NBA draft pick
- Started 117 of the 119 career games he played in
- 11th highest scorer in school history
- 3rd most assists in school history
- 5th most steals in school history
- 5h most games started in school history
- Only player in Notre Dame history to score more than 1700 points, dish off 600 assists, make 150 steals and block 30 shots (37)
- Scored in double figures 99 times during his career and led the Irish in scoring on 47 occasions
-Unanimous First Team All-ACC selection and MVP of the 2015 ACC Championship after leading the Irish to the tournament title
- Suspended for academic violations in 2014 but elected to return as a fifth year player and would go on to graduate from Notre Dame following his senior season
- Scored 12 points in final 50 seconds of regulation in the epic 104-101 five-overtime victory against eventual national champion Louisville

It was referred to as an academic mistake or something similar so I assume cheating of some sort rather than a failed class.
