The Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament starts tomorrow. Here are some players to watch:

Notre Dame commits:

Jordan Gross, AA #3 Maple Grove (21-2-2)

Minnesota-Duluth commits:

Jared Thomas, A #1 Hermantown (25-0-0)

Dom Toninato, AA#1 Duluth East (24-1-0)

ND was the last team I wanted Michigan to play in the Playoffs. I was afraid they were gonna do what Michigan did in 2009-10.

ND was #1 in the CCHA Preseason. Who in the hell would have predicted they would finish 8th and their season would end early, and FERRIS STATE would win the conference? Not to mention the fact ohio was running away with the conference & a sure 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament until they pulled off the worst collapse in NCAA history.

Kind of sad that next year is the final time Michigan and ND will play as conference opponents. Red said that Michigan most likely won't play ND after next season as well as miami.
