I play ncaa football 2007 for XBOX360 and I wanted to know if any of you have any good all around offensive plays that work against a run defense or pass defense. also if you have any all around defensive plays that are all around good for run or pass situation? any help would be great. well im playing 07 on ps2 but im sure the plays are the same.....as far as O: i just run a lot of slants, rollouts, hb slams & tackles, and some playaction to go deep

on D: I just use 4-3 stack-cover 2 every play. Depending on the set they're in i'll blitz a couple linebackers if needed to stop the run

i play it on ps2. on O, i run alot of counters and run it up the gut alot. then i use playaction. deep posts and slants work when you have a good reciever b/c it seems like the can catch anything and they're always in good position.

on D, i run alot of 4-3 and just control the middle linebacker. on passing situtions, i'll spread the line and have them rush to the outside and control the DE.

The XBox 360 version of that game is horribly flawed. Run a play like PA Crosses, Corners, anything with a slant route and roll your QB out to that side of the field. Your receiver should be wide open almost everytime.

Sounds like you've got the Minter Defense Scheme set on Default. I hear it does the same thing on Play Action.

I play it on Heisman only with no sliders adjustments and have won 70 straight... yeah that's right I said it... so let me help

note these may be considered "money plays" some do not like that about them

WITH nd's playbook... good offensive plays

1.)Ace 5 WR/ X clown... RB (the button NOT the running back) Only when the ball is on the NEAR side and the WR is on the FAR side he will be open 95% time ON THE CUT... the second he move towards the slide line hit it... helps to roll out towards him if possible...

any play like this will be money money money for thrid and long and when you need a big play, or when you are playing SC and just want to run it up...

2.) Same Set, Slot Angle Post... when the "x" receiver is on the near side go to the RB button again he'll be open over the middle if you get enough protection... IF the "x" is set on the far side... hit him in his break towards the side line just like the above play...

3.) THIS ONE IS REAL MONEY... Weak I Twin WR cross... (now I used the updates that somone put on here a while back, you can find it via NCAA or PS2 on the search forums, this is how I have Munir in the game)

anyway I use this with munir all the time... money!!!

make sure the back's route is going towards the far side of the field and hopefully the D will be in man cov. if they are send the Back in motion towards the empty side of the field and hike the ball when he is about half way there... hit him quickly in stride and RUN!!! first down everytime and sometimes he's gone all the way...

Defense plays...

1.) Dime DB Blitz... take the DB blitzing and put him RIGHT NEXT to the DE tight in the line... blast off the snap, sack 20% of the time... and god forbid they run your way on toss or sweep... for the cpu that is...

other than that just play the situation... zone for run man for pass and if they eat up your DP's zone blitz and hope for the best... never fails me and I run with the big boys..

Ok. The problems with the XBox version go beyond just the horrid coverage problems. There's the receivers getting hun up on DBs (and the consequent PI calls) and, my personal favorite, the "force sack", where the QB is sacked without being touched.

both of those are true.. but there are also MANY "money plays" on PS2 that don't work on xbox360... honestly I played both to death and can say I'll take the 360 version all things considered.... if anything the only thing hurting the 360 was the stuff OUTSIDE of actual gameplay

Awesom guys. thanks. here's a secret play for you guys. go to screen passes then tight screen. hit the receiver for the screen and this play gives me on average 15+yards and goes the distance 35% of the time.

I still havent found that 1-5-5 defense that you are talking about. Oh well. Maybe I will find it at some point. Any other awesome plays that I could use to destroy my friend. (remember that I use Notre Dame's playbook)

I play it faithfully. But I run straight power. The wishbone, Power T. I recruit receivers for just speed and just throw the deep ball and let them outrun the cb's.
